I have my toe quite heavily separated on my Vapor 2X Pro. Had to seal the crack somehow, but it still holds together and works. Thinking of these or Konekt as the next pair. Btw, it would be fine if Bauer could reshape the holder a bit, to have laces/strings further beyond the contact area...
U15 kid broke a toe cap off a shot. Bought 2 used ones, the toe caps were broken. The lightness comes at a cost. Also, yes, repair shops won't touch em.
With your comment about the Pros being perfect from the ankle on up. But the boot compared to the TF9 or two piece Custom where True is a way more comfortable boot. Is that comfortablilty because of it's the insole so if you change it out to like a SuperFeet fries that take away from the edge the True may have in comfortablilty over other skates?
How often you play stick n puck at KCI?
I am thinking of buying some used ones they look sweet
They are great skates! Lightest on the market
I read elsewhere about the same issue with the bottom separation after only 3 months. Apparently, Bauer refused to honour the warranty claim.
