Mind you Katsura doesn’t go all out in any of his fights unless he has a general that can take over if he was to die. The only time Katsura truly went all out is when he fought shokaku in episode 320
Too many people shitting on enshou. Even if he used a better weapon, he was still able to face 3 joui warriors, he has the skill to at least face a joui 3 1v1 even with a katana. And let's not forget that humans aren't the strongest race in the universe, so it makes perfect sense that some races are stronger
As someone else noted in Japanese, a beam saber alone isn’t that much of a hax either - Batou got served by Gin-san, and he also went easy against Obi (Shinpachi’s foster big bro). Granted, his sabers have more features than those, having those light bits and what’s not, but being able to 1v3 is a feat on its own I’d say.
I would have gone with all of what you guys are saying if an injured Katsura hadn’t picked up a saber and completely fked his shit up within 3 seconds . All he did was spam that throwable projectiles and you guys are way under balling his range with that sword and dude barely survived a one vs one had he had a normal sword he would have died very easily quite making stuff up for him shokaku gave Katsura more trouble
I think in skill level, he's probably about the same tier or little high to isaburo and hijikata, people may ask, katsura managed to get one of his saber but had a really hard time beating him? bc enshou is had much more experience in lightsaber than him it may sound stupid bc it's hard to do power scaling for me especially if there's no involvement of super powers something like that, bc sometimes, there's actually some cases that even tho that x is stated to be stronger than y, y still had a chance to win or put much trouble against x due to circumstances ps: my english sucks so sorry for any mistakes

@@apetit8687 he was actually one of the only villains in Gintama whose backstory made him more hate-able. Dude betrayed and killed his elder brother because he loved his brother's wife. Mf deserved everything coming for him. Takasugi showing him mercy showed the development of Takasugi's character and how he was also in a similar state of vengeance and how trivial it seems to him now.
