Thank you for being honest and not so “it is what it is” as other reviewers do. You don’t like it, you say it and stay by it. Don’t just accept. Thanks for being real
I was group 79, and I was in the middle of the queue drama. What actually caused the chaos weren't people who were just not informed of what was going on, there was a huge swath of us that were told by a cast member at 9 am "Okay, regardless of what your number is, you're now all first come first serve after group 40." Btw, the reason I was even in the queue room was because they told me to go there if I wanted to be able to use the bathroom...like, ok? While I have no doubt that people were purposefully trying to get in sooner, that specific mishap was thanks to the cast members being completely unorganized. We were first told that we are good to queue up with the rest of the early groups, only to be told hours later we have to get out of line. I needed to get my mom out of there anyway because she had gotten sick twice in the bathroom. It was way too congested and the heat had gotten to her. Such an awful mess that experience was. Thankfully a very kind cast member helped us later so that my mom wouldn't have to get in line and get sick again when our number was called.
GAHH that’s so wild !!!! yeah every problem seemed to stem from he said she said situations with no employee ACTUALLY being in charge. and like, on paper the virtual queue system is fine but the misinformation and panic that day was so insane
I wish we could get Jane at Disney World too. Hopefully Jess, Steve and Courtney are willing to pull it off. Because that would save me from a lot of stress right now.
I really appreciate that you always tell your honest opinion about these dolls, not like other reviewers who praise any product just because it comes from Disney !
I feel the assigned groups and numbers, in theory, is a great idea because of the craziness and chaos that easily and frequently happens during these releases. I say POTENTIALLY this could have gone smoothly if the employees had their sh*t together and didn’t confuse everyone.
Oww thank you, I posted something about a more detailed review on Instagram since I wanted to see more details on these dolls. Thanks for taking your time and sharing the whole experience. I have a few questions about Ariel, does she have articulation at the waist? What her bracelet looks like? Is her skintone more yellowish compared to 30th Anniversary doll? Thanks!
The accessories that come with are based accordingly from my understanding to the take of the movie when she's with Eric & the walking around the town & in the cart she has Flowers in her hands and she has that shaw but I can see why embroidery would be important on it
Does D23 get feedbacks for this? Giving out 2 dolls per person for Jane is unacceptable. And they even included kids and babies to the count. I’ve seen the photos of scalpers bringing in their whole family and bought 12 dolls for re-sale. Considering those numbers probably only 500 people or less got the dolls. They should strictly implement 1 doll per adult paying person on the next D23 doll release.
yeah the 2 per person thing is a Disneyland Parks rule, since jane was only released at the parks that rule just fell over onto her. At the actual expo everything is strictly limit 1 per person which is good. Those Tarzan rights just messed everything up
Sad but my opinion on Ariel hasn’t changed since she was leaked, it’s just not limited edition worthy. Both the quality and the design. I really don’t like how uninspired it looks. Also the colors of the bodice and skirt blend together too much and it really irks me idk how to explain it better. It’s a shame how much of a letdown this highly anticipated outfit is.
New Ariel D23 gorgeous doll and you shouldn't have compared it to Mulan or Aurora. Few people dream about Mulan and Aurora now, many collectors who cannot afford her are dreaming about this Ariel now, and you, having her in your arms, so disdainfully and without gratitude, say that you are not satisfied with her outfit? Sell the outfit and her bouquet if you don't like it so much, why keep something you don't like? Her bouquet of flowers should not be made of iron. It was impossible to make a Jasmin lamp out of plastic or paper, so they made it out of iron. This should be understandable. They made an identical bouquet with flowers, just like in the old years. The standard price of this doll is about $150-$200 and you were able to get it for such a cheap price. For a California resident, for example, $150 or $200 is just to go to the store and buy food. And you got a collectible, rare doll for that kind of money, and you also complain that for $150-$200, Disney designers made her outfit badly. Go and contact the people on Etsy, they will make you an outfit for a doll specifically as you want to order from $500 and you will be satisfied. But for the price you paid, you got a lot, but you don't understand it.
An honest opinion is far more valuable for viewers than the so-called gratitude. If I were considering buying a $500+ doll, I would VERY MUCH appreciate a review that duscussed its potential drawbacks.
Did you really read what you wrote!?, he’s so right, this Ariel does not even reach the heels to the Ariel D23 of 2019, not even those of last year, the bouquet could be exchanged for a basket with flowers, not a simple piece of fabric, you have to know how to differentiate from when a product is well made and of course you have to know how to give good and bad reviews, here we only see that the price goes up and the quality does not
Jane is pretty but her hat, gloves and umbrella are missing. I also think that Ariel’s bang looks strange. It seems like they tried to make it movie accurate but sth went wrong.
Why would Disney improve their quality when they know all the thirsty buckets will purchase a doll wrapped in a turd in a collector box? The thirsty crew will even cause pandemonium with the cops having to intervene, no less. And on top of all that, they will promote their mediocre releases for free!!!
❤ You are the best, thanks for explaining everything. I have a D23 membership and I didn't know how to use it. I was left without the dolls and I got some on eBay at double the price. I haven't found anyone who can explain it to me.
The way that $180 Jane doll Disney come with an umbrella and or a hat AND OR gloves and a sketch book is criminal. The face is gorgeous though.
it’s so ridiculous…. like how much could that have added to the production $$
Thank you for being honest and not so “it is what it is” as other reviewers do. You don’t like it, you say it and stay by it. Don’t just accept. Thanks for being real
Disney should make Thumbelina 1994 into a doll for the 30th anniversary ✨🧚🏻♀️🌷
maybe for the 35th anniversary, the rights to the fox movies are still a bit finicky with Disney.
This Jane is breathtaking!

@@theycallmeobsessed Yeah I felt bad for the cast members, they clearly had no guidance as to what was going on whatsoever.
I love how this is not just a doll review but a review of the experience! Ugh I just love this

oh when it’s not great I will always say something! we spend so much on these, I require a baseline of quality at the least 😂
I'm happy for you that you got the dolls you wanted, but those price points, all that DRAMA to get them, and a lack of quality is a big NO for me.

Will you be getting any of the new mattel enchanted elegance dolls?

I don’t understand the whole drama with Jane. I’m still trying to find her, but I don’t want to pay for the big price tags for her.
Never clicked on a video so fast
I’ll just say this. People are CRAZY 😂
people are insane. I don't want to pay so much money for Jane, I'll gladly wait for the general release for Ariel though.

She gives me Anna and Belle vibes ❤
I’m selfish and just want all Ariel dolls to be mermaids lol 🧜🏼♀️

I love the way you tell the truth and you don’t dress up with pretty words ❤
18:16 Malibu?
I would love to see Disney release an Anastasia doll as well:)
Seated for the tell all 🪑
