What is your property zoned as? In NSW RU1 & RU2 under 100Ha does not qualify for a dwelling entitlement and there are restrictions to how many days a year you can "camp" on the property. Is this a case of "ask for forgiveness rather than ask for permission situation"?
We have two zonings on the property and have it in writing that the dwelling entitlement applies to the entire property. We thought it would only apply to one zone, not both. We looked at a lot of properties and wanted to make sure we can build through the correct avenues. There are a lot of off-griders that prefer to avoid the rules, and that's their choice. I appreciate it when people give us constructive criticism, but you seem like you're trying to be rude. If you don't agree with what we're doing, find another UA-cam to subscribe to 👍
@@outlawcustombows I wasn't being rude. I was genuinely interested. I'm looking for a property. The price for acreage with a dwelling entitlement puts most who want to get out of the rat race out of the market. Most people encourage me to just buy a property and risk it or get the approvals later. For the record, I'm not subscribed. I won't be subscribing. For someone so sensitive and prone to assume the worst of people, maybe an online platform might not be suited to you.
@John P You've jumped on a hunting video and assumed we don't have a dwelling entitlement when we put in the extra effort to get a property with one. If you want advice, you could have asked, I'm super keen to help others, hence my video discussing costs to consider when going off-grid. Rather than sensitivity, it's frustration that our handwork is being undermined. All the best looking for your block 👍
Enjoyed this video. Different to your usual bowhunting vid, but in a good way. Family out hunting for meat ❤
Thank you so much Adam, we appreciate it. We hope to raise the kids knowing where their food comes from! ❤️
Good work guys! Good to see it all happening

Good job Colin and family, I’m sure the shot was helped by the Tom Clum clinic! Keeping an eye out for that 62” peregrine when it happens. Great vid
Certainly was mate! 3 Under up close as per Tom's suggestion.
When it's released you will know mate. Get keen!
Can’t imagine the fun of spot and stalk these things. We don’t have quite the same type hunts here in Texas. But we do have the pigs though. 👍👍
Spot and stalking pigs is great fun mate! Wr have big pigs here in Aus and it's the main way we hunt them.
what do you make from the meat? goat curry curry is the best for me.
❤
Awesome video, nothing better than a good bow hunt. Especially removing a feral animal from the bushland 😊
Thanks so much!
Especially because they are so tasty!
