Injora shocks come with spacers. Mind you those black ones look heaps better.

Awesomeness. Thanks for the video. I’m planning on building two. One with portals and one with 4 wheel steer using two OEM axles.
Wow! I was considering the 4ws option. Portals would be great but getting closer to the price of a G-Made R1, so might just wanna go for that as it comes with them. 😀👍
Thanks for the reply. I have a spare set of portals lying around off an SCX10. Going to see if I can make them work. I’m trying to see if I can build a budget truck that can rival my Capra. Keep up the good work.

Can you please make a couple bars to go between the shock towers for this? I could really use some. Id teally appreciate it.
Hi. You could just buy some hollow black plastic tubing and cut it to length. Should be easy to find on ebay. The finish will be better than 3dp and cheap and quick. 👍

I ordered one. I use only 1500mAh 2s Lipos top get the main emphasis down. At the beginning with crawling, i put little accu Packs in the axles. I use also alloy wheels with adjustable hubs, to get Mode offset.

Been building mine up but I'm using an scx 10 ii transmission so the battery tray won't fit lol Time to get the aluminum stock out 😁

good ideas! I got the servo mount on your recommendation. I built mine with a cheaper Quickrun ESC but I find it too choppy, so I ordered a Hobbywing1080 progammable which should be great for slow speed control. I have some aliexpress all metal portal axles on the way too.

Hey there, can you take a quick lock on my build, inpired on yours. Its a AB CR3.4 base on injora chassi. Everithing funcional, locking difs, 2 speed gear and 25 kg steering servo on a 6000MHa 70C bat. Its just awsone and not finished as you can see.am also learnig on how to upload all this.
Look for, sherpa CR3.4 rock buggy.

Why dont you mount shocks upside down?
Hi. Good question. The tyres might rub on them at full lock. And I prefer the look of them the right way. Not sure there is any benefit being upside down. 👍

I'm a noob to modern RC, and haven't been in the hobby since I was a kid in the 90's.
I see that the servo mount is for the SCX10. Are other parts interchangeable on 1/10 scale rc if something breaks?
Hi and welcome back to RC!!! Sometimes. Injora make a lot of parts for the Axial SCX models, and they have used some of those on the Rock Buggy. If you are concerned about spares I dont think you will have a problem getting them.
i think they have a scx 10 1st gen gearbox and scx10II diferentiel so no worries about parts!
How long are the hole-to-hole lengths of the original shock absorbers from this kit?

Hi there, very helpful video, i really want to buy one of these, the servo bracket is a top mod, have you had front axle/cvd snap on this model, another mod that would really help is longer rear links pull the wheelbase out to maybe 320mm
Thanks pal!! I haven't had any axle issues but I know it is a common problem from the comments people have left. Apparently shrink wrapping the CVD sorts it. 😎👍
