Detailing her parents' case, Savannah said her parents were persecuted and defrauded by a business partner of theirs, leading
to what she later called
"warrantless" raids and "harassment" that ended with an "Obama-appointed judge" sentencing the Chrisleys to a collective 19 years in prison..
She also advocated for the release of former Trump White House aide, Steve Bannon, noting that "he should be home," after being forced to serve 4-month sentence in federal prison for defying congressional subpoena related to the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.Savannah is also hopeful Trump can hold "rogue prosecutors" like the ones who put her parents behind bars.she believes they were simply caught in a web of financial complexities that ultimately proved overwhelming. "accountable," and get rid of immunity -- which was given to the Chrisleys' business partner for complying with the federal government.
"We need to expose the Democrats' corruption and better yet, the Biden family's corruption," she said to cheers. "And guess what, I know just the man for that job. Donald J. Trump has only one conviction that matters and that is his conviction to make America great again."

She’s playing loose with the facts and intentionally so. Her parents were convicted in Fulton County, GA because that’s where their crimes were committed. But the prosecutors were NOT attorneys in the Fulton County DA’s office. Rather, the charges against her parents were filed by U.S. District Attorney Byung J. Pak, working for the Justice Department under Trump. (Pak resigned after the 2020 election as Trump was trying to have the results in Georgia overturned.). So it was Donald Trump’s Justice Department that prosecuted Chrisley’s parents.

Did you see that Julie’s sentence was just vacated due to some of the charges she was convicted on having no evidence? She will be resentenced soon and may be released on time served. There is many holes in their case against the chrisleys. If you go down the rabbit hole and look into it, it’s very concerning and scary.

All of Julies charges weren't reduced. I don't think this is the place to go through their case in great detail, but me and their jury saw some evidence that they did commit some crimes, so I just don't like the comparison with Trump. I've looked really closely, very thoroughly at his cases and don't believe he committed any crime whatsoever. I just don't feel that about Crisleys- even if they were treated unfairly and we can agree on that.
