Unofficial clip to the track The Lisbon Maru (based on the Codehunters anime). Track taken from Fuck Button's second album Tarot Sport. More music at www.athens66.com
If you ever see one of those digital jukeboxes at a bar, throw this on and watch everyone slowly start to bob their head and appreciate what they're listening to.
I have tinnitus and hearing loss with constant ringing in my ears. First part of song hits some bad frequencies in my ears that awakens me, hard. The entire song is so blissful, still. Been listening to it for years. One of my top 100
The first time I heard this was on gran turismo in the lobby part, I literally just sat there, spaced out at how great a track this is. It blew my mind and somehow made me think on a higher level of conscience, made me re-evaluate life and what I was doing with it, strange as it sounds. It put me into a state of euphoria, I'm so happy I found out about fuck buttons, seriously hoping they do another album soon.
Nine years ago I fell asleep to this tune on a train to Venice and dreamt of the apocalypse. Now I'm locked in my house and watching the world burn outside my window. Good music.
If you realize that The Libson Maru was a sea vessel in which nearly 800 drowned it totally adds an intensified element to this song. I can't describe it, and I don't think it's meant to be. And anyways, I just saw them last night and was blown away.
This is a superb tune. Not normally my sort of music but this is definitely one of my top albums of the year. Awesome video as well! lol! Can't wait to get a chance to see them live
the grandfather of one of the two band members survived the Lisbon Maru. i just learned there's a memorial to the victims here in Hong Kong, where the ship sailed from for the final time, and I'd love to visit and pay my respects
my great uncle got to a nearby island but then his fate after is still unknown. However, he is buried in Chai Wan Military Cemetery. Forgotten war crime, but the Chinese are beginning to relate the incident more nowadays as part of their own stories of courage against the Japanese. We know he was aided by local fishermen off Qingbang Island.
@KUCEVICHXELA Yeah this song is hypnotic and amazing. They remind me of this other great artist who is known as The Field. If you like Fuck Buttons then I am sure you'll enjoy the sound of The Field as well.
I'll be honest, I didn't like this track at first. It sounded like random buzztones patched together. Now that I'm listening to this with good quality headphones, I'm impressed. I'm hearing tones I haven't heard in the track before and they amicably fill in the gaps of the song that I could not appreciate before.
@erives174 dude, i feel you, i went to alot of shows for a while, the first few times, yes my ears hiurt alot, but you get over it, and i mean, i understand you musta been in pain, but at the same to time, your lucky you got too see these guys, i liove em, though i have heard they are not to great in cocnert, do you liek the music less loud thoug man?
@GLaDOSPulse Sorry, but you weren't there last night. At least I don't think you were, or you would understand. When a band has ONE back beat for an entire 45 minute show, at a volume that makes your ears and your head hurt, there is something terribly wrong.
@erives174 thats a bummer man, it really blows when a sound guy is off or when a live show is shitty.disappointing to say the least. but yeah man, id check these guys out, they are fairly original, once again though, not for everyone. thansk for givin em a shoit
Driving at Nurburgring at dawn is so good with this song gt5
It also fits with how long the track is
I'm from Lisbon. Love hearing this in my commute.

That was my jam on Gran Turismo 5 while attacking the Nordschleife
I normally would not curse to describe such incredible display of music & art... BUT... EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS F U C K I N G F A N T A S T I C ! !

My father never fully recovered from the horror of this war crime nor his experiences as a prisoner in the Osaka concentration camp.

Awesome video! Spectacular Song. And probably the best album of the decade. Fuck Buttons... take a bow
As if the song weren't good enough, this video kicks ass!
I get tinnitus every time, but it's worth it.
Just take a HD headset, put it on max, close your eyes, relax...
You'll never feel the same way again...

Fucking crazy and the way you go to the wall and you can get a good day to rest of your day with your hrs and your time
does this sound a lot like Sweet Love.. to anyone else?
essentially the same sounds. still good though!
Sweet love to planet earth ya mean?
I was searching for "Maru" (the cat) and came upon this.
@squiddlysplooch ayeee I went to that concert too. the pixies rocked
One of the few songs I simply cannot listen to unless the volume is damagingly loud
@erives174 dude, i feel you, i went to alot of shows for a while, the first few times, yes my ears hiurt alot, but you get over it, and i mean, i understand you musta been in pain, but at the same to time, your lucky you got too see these guys, i liove em, though i have heard they are not to great in cocnert, do you liek the music less loud thoug man?
timesless tune
@RoeldeB
exactly, man. not every1 has a subwoofer, and this sounds like someone is drilling my head for 8 minutes
It actually made the 4 gig update worth it. I had the same thing happen to me.
this song bares a striking resemblance to sweet love for planet earth..
wish they would make a full movie :O or anime out of this
wow!!! goood!!
EPIC

Gran Turismo 5 brought me here. :D
This always reminds me of Final Fantasy 7
