Pizza Loca was the best pizza before it got rebranded with the rebrand they also changed the sauce recipe and hasn't been the same. Back in my hometown it was the go to fast pizza place with their iconic $10 gigantic rectangle pizza. Unfortunately the one in my hometown shut down with the creation of Little Caesars and another local fast pizza chain.
It's a heat lamp (or sit it by the oven) pizza and the sauce and pepperoni dried out. They must not get many customers per hour for that pizza to remain unsold that long. I don't like going to any restaurant that is not continually busy because they will have old ingredients they didn't throw out but recycled for the customers to eat. I've seen one pizza shop sweep the preparation scraps back into the ingredient bins; I stopped going to that place.
That pizza has a ridiculous low amount of cheese, that's actually where they save money, but 5 bucks is just unjustifiable having Lil Caesars or Costco ones

I remember they were HUGE in L.A. during the 90’s, funny radio ads in Spanish & English. The name had a “La” in front of “Pizza Loca”. Then they just seemed to suddenly drop off the map. I’m surprised to see they’re still in business, too bad they seem worse for the wear. I thought nothing could be worse than school cafeteria pizza until this 🤦🏻♀️
