I just loved this episode. Where he shuts the door and it cuts to black and my heart sank, "Like noooo ,it can't be the same like any other tv show where it takes them seasons to get back toge-" Rebecca starts knocking again and they reconcile and I was so so happy.
Their acting is just so… perfect. That’s not even acting, they’re DEEPLY into the story, they made Jack and Rebecca EXIST, their love story, their feelings, all of it. Just stunning. That’s why I loved This is Us so much, and that’s why I think that there’s no such thing as the love that Jack and Rebecca experienced.
I was crying hysterically when he said, " I have a problem. Rebecca. I am sorry, baby." And..." I just need you to get in the car...." What an incredible love scene.
Ogni volta che commento un tuo video scrivo sempre le stesse cose, ma come al solito è bellissimo, non avevo notato quanti parallelismi avessero queste due ship meravigliose.
Not only is there a wonderful, healing program for the suffering alcoholic called AA, but there is a wonderful, healing program for the suffering friends and family of the alcoholic called Alanon.
it made me so angry when she would say that he wasn’t an alcoholic. it was belittling and she wouldn’t acknowledge it because she didn’t want to acknowledge that he wasn’t perfect, but he needed help.
I disagree with that analysis. There is so much ignorance about the disease. Rebecca, like millions of people didn't understand that alcoholics can hide it, aren't all verbally abusive and she most definitely loved and supported her husband.
