Not sure associating Cruijff with #14 is all that obscure, it's common knowledge to dutchies. We've even had a dutch musical about Cruijff called "14" 😅
I'm not saying him and his number is, but for a lower league Japanese team to be named after it feels pretty obscure to me!
Well, perhaps, but if they have teams named and styled after Spanish, Italian and Portuguese (amongst others) influences, having one based on us dutchies and our biggest ever icon doesn't seem that farfetched to me :)
