There's definitely gonna be a rematch in season 5 (or maybe even season 6) between Sam and Tory. I don't think Tory is the kind of character who would be okay with winning because that dirty referee made bad calls, she will probably speak up about it and want a fair match eventually. Maybe she will even leave Cobra Kai over it, especially with Kreese in jail.
I noticed that Sensei Lawrence peeked out of the video games of the '90s (Street Fighter Ryu / Ken-Tatsumaki) and the kick (Fly tornado kick) Sam did on the Tory so that Sam could take him through the fight because the Tatsumaki kick couldn't be taken.

Therefore, Samantha should have been up on the scoreboard. And we also saw the conversation that Terry silver had with the referee at the end of tournament. They did Sam dirty.

I think it’s so cheesy how Sam uses “her own style” totally different than anything she’s trained in. I’ve fought before and that is totally not the case. She would basically fall back to her core training drills.
That's because you have trained your body to 'remember' all the moves, but if Sam have practiced enough with her 'own style', she can definitely combined all she has learnt and become something new. If only Sam is THAT talent to do so~

The spinning tornado kick is relatively basic kick in taekwondo. Johnny having a background in TangSooDo must have learned it rather early in his training.

I’m confused why anyone is saying Tory was stronger than Sam in this fight. No matter how you slice it Sam scored 3 points, and was about to score another point before she got elbowed in the face. So effectively the fight was 2-3 (in Sams favor) or even 2-4 if the ref just did his job.

It's not trying to make Sam look like a hero. There aren't really any "heros" in this show. It's a bunch of kids trying to show they can fight for themselves and a few adults teaching them what they know. But this fight was clearly rigged thanks to Silver. And don't forget, Sam beat Tory when she was trying to cripple her with a spike bracelet and nun chucks. But the show has given Tory a redemption arc.

Actually it is an excellent example of martial arts. I’ve trained my whole life (28 yrs) and I’ll tell you that this scene is pretty legit. The Robby and hawk fight was too flashy but even that fight was dope for a tv show.

While the match should have been over with Sam's double punch to the chest and stomach. Tory one wanted to end her rivalry with Sam. The final fight should’ve been Miguel vs Robby because they have had a bigger rivalry than SAM and TORY, also every time MIGUEL and Robby fought, they would basically kill each other. SAM fears TORY even if they are equally matched, ROBBY and Miguel are the ones who are feared. They even fear each other sometimes. SAM and TORY have a stupid rivalry because they got a rivalry from a stolen drink, while Miguel and Robby started the rivalry for a girl that SAM STARTED ON EACH ONE. You see that TORY cares for SAM and doesn’t want to hurt her, but Robby and Miguel are like wolfs fighting. That’s why I hated the finale

I mean I was really hoping that Sam would have taken Tory’s hand and let Tory help her up, signifying that their hatred for one another is finally over (stupid cobra Kai’s for pulling Tory away too soon), but I can’t say that I blame Sam for still being somewhat confused and afraid that Tory was going to hurt her because that’s all that Tory has done every time they have fought: gone in for the kill whenever Sam was down.
Looking forward to the Tory redemption arc.

Aaaach... For a final fight, I was expecting better, I must admit. Robbie and Hawk (Actors) have improved hugely and they made their matches look spectacular, even Dimitri and Kyler looked really good... But... Come on girls, 4th season now...
Deemetri and Kyler didn't look good, most of the action this season was crap
@@miyagiclips1199 I wouldn't call it all crap, personally I think it's more refined, I just find Sam so awkward, Tory less so, she's been better. It's like when you see Actors using fire arms, you can tell with ones are comfortable.

Actually it is an excellent example of martial arts. I’ve trained my whole life (28 yrs) and I’ll tell you that this scene is pretty legit. The Robby and hawk fight was too flashy but even that fight was dope for a tv show.
I think after sams flying tornado kick towards tory, tory should have triple flipes thru the air as she got kicked in the face that would of made the scene be at elis and robbys fight scene level!!

While the match should have been over with Sam's double punch to the chest and stomach. Tory one wanted to end her rivalry with Sam. And please note put the look on Payton List face said that is of Kyler and Piper hadn't wrapped their arms around her tory would have kneeled down to closer examine Sam or perhaps even help her to her feet.

The final fight should’ve been Miguel vs Robby because they have had a bigger rivalry than SAM and TORY, also every time MIGUEL and Robby fought, they would basically kill each other. SAM fears TORY even if they are equally matched, ROBBY and Miguel are the ones who are feared. They even fear each other sometimes. SAM and TORY have a stupid rivalry because they got a rivalry from a stolen drink, while Miguel and Robby started the rivalry for a girl that SAM STARTED ON EACH ONE. You see that TORY cares for SAM and doesn’t want to hurt her, but Robby and Miguel are like wolfs fighting. That’s why I hated the finale
i think the face tory makes when she's fighting is hilarious and is it just me or does the girls matches seem half as climactic
