i do the same thing. its mainly for ghost rolls for me because tilting the head down makes my sticks contact the drum a ttiiinnnyy bit later than it would if it were upright but its enough to make my rolls sound more prominent. discovered it on accident when my stand was loose and it tilted on me mid-song. idk she does it for the same reason but its just mainly personnal preference. ive seen people tilt the drum towards them.
