Have been using LB02/Extra Light Natural Blonde for new growth only, for the past year. Switched up to LB01/Extra Light Ash Blonde because LB02 was n/a. After completing NGO, took a wide tooth comb to distribute color on medium length hair (of which I rarely ever do). Left on for 40 minutes & VOILÀ‼️ Towhead Blonde like when I was a child✅ Natural color is dark blonde, blue eyes, fair/med skin w/pink undertones. Always color@ home w/drug store products. This L’Oréal Preference Les Blondissimes product is AWESOME! & remember to Deep Condition weekly😁
Looks really great, might give this one a try. I usually use a light blonde and always get slightly golden tones in my hair which I don't mind, but I'd like to reduce those a bit this time so will try this ash shade. x
I put the same color on my gray roots for 25 minutes and pulled it through for 10 and still ended up with gray roots. Guess I will leave it on a little bit longer next time. Yours turned out great!
Honey, your hair color looks great! A salon could not have done better. L’Oréal Preference and Excellence is known to have the prettiest blonde shades. The only downside is that the chemicals are super strong. Peace
I am not sure why you think your regrow this is a level 5, I can see you’re around a level 6.5 or 7 naturally, that’s why this box dye worked well on your roots and didn’t pull too much orange. Had you been a level 5, you would lift with loads of orange, despite the ash tone of the hair dye
Hi I discovered your video and decided to do this color as I have many years ago. I just went over my old highlights and roots. Mine were pretty similar to yours, but severely grown out. The color looks pretty good, but a little golden as opposed to the rest. Did you do any purple /shampoos to even out the color or would you recommend going over the roots again in a couple weeks to lift more?
hi!! so I'm trying to decided between this and LB02. I'm leaning toward this one because I really want that neutral/cool swedish blonde look, but not silvery or purplely grey undertones. but I feel the LB02 will be too warm? I'm currently a natural medium blonde with neutral and some warm undertones!
My hair is dyed pink right now with Overtone conditioner. It has faded but isn't completely faded out just like yours. I have this on my dresser and I am ready to use but do you suggest I wait until it is fully faded or should I be fine to dye the pink too. I notice yours is a little bit pink before you dyed the blonde and it turned out well, so do you think it will be fine if I do it now too? Thank you!
if your hair is similar to mine in the video I think you should be fine to use it! if it DOES go Peachier than you want you can always tone it with a green based ash toner
@@TheGlamPixie Okay thank you! Since this dye (pink) is supposed to fade out anyway, do you think if i use the blonde and it turns out peachy, that within a few weeks (when the pink would've faded out) it will go to regular blonde? I just don't want it to turn out bad because I was impatient with it fading. I have purple toning shampoo, but you said to use green if its peachy, so would be purple not be helpful in that situation?
And I'm just here to ask what color you haid before. Was it something like strawberry blonde or something? I know I had similar color when I colored my hair pink with schwarzkopf live cool rose and it slowly faded away, but maybe there is something else..
@@TheGlamPixie Thank you! that's good to know. My hair colour is similar to yours- somewhere the the range of dark ash blonde to light ash brown. I'm looking to lighten it at home. So far this product looks pretty good!. Thank you for the review!
You’re a level 6/5 and this took you to a 9/some parts 10 on the roots.. Levels 7/8 still have orange .. you are just golden which is a 9.3 , its pretty good!!
it might help tone the yellow a little bit but if your not looking to lighten only tone out the yellow I would look up my manic ultra violet toner video. it is WAY less damaging
With sweaty hands, I am getting ready to begin. I'm terrified y'all. I have dark brown hair... Penny like. It is penny colored. Makes me angry. 😂 So I had many a stylist. Either my hair felt like corn silk or I was penny colored! It shined through. So I took matters in my own hands. I bleached weeks ago. L'Oreal. And it wasn't dead like when others did it. And I toned... A week later. And I was shocked. It's dark blonde and it isn't insane. So now, I'm going to do literally this color. My hair is much lighter than hers to start. Toner is everything. I had to bleach TWICE, before toning and I had to absolutely wait with some orange flavor. It died over time with good shampoos. Don't abuse those shampoos though. Lol they're rough. Condition. Pray for me. I'm going to go light. Light light. May have to live silly again.
A warning to all. Box dye has metallic salts like lead . Many years ago an autopsy was performed on a woman and hair dye was found on her brain. Lead is very bad for the body either in or on the body. Professional color does not have metallic salts. Quality professional color is not available to the public due to the greed of hairdressers. They do not want quality professional color available to the public because they do not want to lose out on money from someone doing their hair at home with good professional products. They would rather see someone have lead in their body than lose out on money from people doing their hair at home. Using quality products at home will increase the chances that someone will like their hair color by doing it themselves at home and saving a lot of money. If you go to the hairdresser and she is going to lighten your hair and she asks if you use box dye make sure that you tell her the truth because if she puts lightner over box dye it is going to start smoking and she will immediately have to take the lightner off before she is finished with the service . This danger from box dye to the public needs to STOP. It is up to the public to demand that it stops by the public being offered quality hair color. Also, the box dyes are a lot more expensive than the hair color that hairdressers use. The power is in the hands of the public to change it whether the hairdressers like it or not. It is NOT any harder to use professional color that box dye so don't believe that lie. No, it is all about the money. I know that I will anger a lot of hairdressers with my comment but it needs to be said. So, let the chips fall where they may.
This has been my favorite for years. Keep in mind it has 30 vol developer in it. That's why it works so well.
I was wondering that, thank you
I loved how you just slopped it on! Came out beautiful!

I bought extra light natural ash blonde. I can’t wait to see how it turns out
Looks like it made your hair alot better looking. I'd say its a miracle worker!
Thank you! me too! I'm so happy with how it worked!
Beautiful! I used this hair color tonight and got great results as well. I think I found a keeper!
awesome! I'm so glad it worked for you too!
How is it on grey and whitish hair!??

I had light brown hair and used garnier PL2 that lifts 8 levels. I now have the platinum hair of my dreams! You should try it!
Absolutely beautiful
Looks good. I love how non chalant you are like " it's only hair". It's true we shouldn't be so scared to experiment.
yeah, I figure as long as it does'nt fall out I'm good :D

thank you! I'm sorry yours is being so difficult!
anything above a color level 8 will not cover gray hair. I'm a licensed hairdresser.

What is the difference between preference and excellence?
@@amandamrcd6244 Preference is a liquid color in a bottle, and Excellence is a cream color in a tube. Cream tube colors are much easier to apply.

I would definitely go with the ash/cool. box dyes always go warmer on me
If I use this instead of bleach to lighten my hair, would I then be able to die pink over? Or would the chemicals not react well to each other?
once your hair is fully rinsed and dried you should be fine. I've dyed "fashion " colors over box dye blonde before
Thank you!!
