Thank you very much! Your comments and support are very valuable to me. It means I'm on the right track. Yes, the Lyra-8 instrument is really beautiful. Exploring it and experimenting with it is a great pleasure.
Greetings! For me, first of all, it is a good and very spatial reverb with endless tails. It can be Eventide BLACKHOLE or SPACE, Source Audio COLLIDER and similar reverbs with a good function channel and various reverberation algorithms, ideally. You can try the Zoom ms70cdr to get started. There are many different effects that can be combined into chains and get a very good result. And so there can be many options for drone sound. The purchase budget also determines a lot. Hologram Microcosm is a very cool device for signal processing, but the price is high. Check out the reviews of these sound pedals✨🎛️⚙️🎛️✨
@@GIPNOZER_SOUND You know budget is always the issue. If I go with the Blackhole, would I need the Zoom ms70cdr? The Blackhole seems to supersede the Zoom ms70cdr.
Eventide BLACKHOLE and ZOOM MS70CDR are completely different effect pedals. If you want high-quality reverb and want to focus exclusively on spatial, drone sound and have a small number of settings and that all the controls are on the surface, then take BLACKHOLE. If you take the ZOOM ms70cdr, the reverberation effects (algorithms) are of lower quality there, but they are there and there are about 4-5 of them (they are capable of making a drone, but not so spatially). In addition, there are a lot of other effects. Such as various dealers, flangers, choruses, compressors, limiters, etc. With a device like the MS70CDR, you'll get more room for creativity and experimentation. Since you can combine all these effects into different combinations and chains. If I were you, I would take the ms70cdr at the beginning of your journey, and after a while I would buy a better reverb.
Good day! Thank you very much for your comment! I am very glad that my videos can inspire people to create. ……. In this video, the setup is quite simple. The signal from Lyra-8 goes to Zoom ms70cdr and then the signal goes to the recorder. This is the whole sound path :)
Thanks for your comment and question! Oh... To be honest, I don't remember exactly what effect I used. But it was definitely one of the reverb algorithms. There are not many good reverb algorithms there - 2 or 3 options. If you have such a pedal, then you will definitely find them by tuning them in such a way as to achieve the longest tails. But if this is critical and important to you. I can tell you the name of the algorithm, but later...
@@cauchemarchemin The upper right is the Tascam DR-40X recorder. Actually, everything was written on it. And the effect processor was Zoom MS70CDR - small, inexpensive, but very powerful and interesting =)
Okay, here's the deal: Your way of making music is so far removed from mine that at least an entire spaceship would fit lengthwise in between. And yet I keep coming back to your channel and let myself be captured by this mixture of noise from the machine room, infinite expanses between space and time and disturbing soundscapes in which I could wander for hours. What is actually going on there?

on the bottom is a Zoom ms70cdr effects pedal, and on top is the recorder on which the recording was made - Tascam dr40x. ... If you have questions about other setups, don’t hesitate to ask 🎛️🎛️🎛️
Greetings! Thank you for your questions. I will try to answer. 1. I use TASCAM because I don't want to record audio on a PC. I want the entire audio setup to be in the frame, including the recorder. If I were writing sound on a PC, I wouldn't use the effects pedal when processing the audio signal. I would use the built-in reverb plugins in Ableton, delay, limitwave and compressors and other effects. And thus, only the synthesizer itself or synthesizers would be in the frame. It would not be so visually interesting for the viewer and the performance would be more sparse. At this point in my work, I'm doing it this way and I don't plan to write video performances on PC yet. 2. The effects pedal that is in the frame (zoom ms70cdr) does not give additional sound tones. It exclusively processes the audio signal. I hope I answered your questions. If you want to ask me something else, write to me. I will try to answer. I wish you creative success. Peace and kindness. Oh my God, I accidentally deleted your comment with questions 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻 I'm sorry for this poll. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

In this video I used the ZOOM MS-70CDR multi-effects pedal. It has many different effects that can be combined into chains and played with. There are reverbs, delays, choruses, flenders, compressors, limiters and much more. I highly recommend this pedal. It will not be superfluous in any setup ✨🎛️✨ Good luck to you! 👽

Hello Gipnozer, what is the best fx hardware that can maximize the drone music potential with the Lyra-8?
