That power plenum for Dreamline guns is a great idea and a cheap upgrade. Now is there anything like it available for the Crown, or do I need to upgrade to the Dreamline???
FX Impacts are great if you get the 1 that didn’t get skipped over at QC, “according to what I have researched from some of the owners, dealers, and forums”, that don’t have issues. Very expensive purchase for a hit/miss gun that is being rushed out the door to meet demand. Do I still want one? Hell yeah but I will wait till things are fixed. No rush. I’m good with what I have now . Too many are slipping though the cracks and having issues. Sorry happy owners but I was a potential buyer until I started doing research and got scared away. To costly at the moment for the time you have to wait. I’m a shooter not a fixer and for that kind of money for a gun of that complexity, not at this time. I’m coming home with a Daystate, Uragan, Zbroia Sapsan, or even a different model FX just not the Impact at the moment. I will buy one when they get the QC issues under control and the demand backs off,then I think quality will go back up. If you Impact owners got a good one, great, that’s what you paid for. I hope when I get one that it doesn’t have any issues too. Do your research on any gun first. It’s your money.
IlIlllIllIlIIIll quality control issues, leaks, internal parts coming apart making the gun just up and quit shooting, damaged barrels straight out of the box, a myriad of other issues. Granted also issues from owners mucking them up but that’s not what I’m talking about and that’s a given. Rushing them out the door to meet the demand and missing important steps or sometimes even parts. AOA and other dealers frequently catch these issues and fix them or change out part or add parts but they shouldn’t have to. They cannot catch them all and shouldn’t have to honestly for what these guns cost. Fred and Johan will make it right but too many people waiting too long for a gun they no sooner get have to send it right back for repairs because the gun stops working.
Scott Blickenstaff did not review it. Read the forums, talked to the dealers that sold them and the problems their customers were having with them. I did my research before I dropped 2grand plus on one and waited what must feel like an eternity just to have to send it back for repairs. If you got one and it is problem free that’s awesome. When Fredrik and Johan get the QC issues under control and these bugs worked out I will buy one but I don’t like the idea of playing the lottery with my money at the moment. That is not a review that is feed back from dealers, owners, and research from forums. Not a review at all.

I have 8 PCP's 4 are fx Only issue I've ever had was C3 O rings and mag issues FX addressed the problems and fix them for free I own a brocock hr an a daystate hr hp Both their magazines are garbage I'm on over 15 other PCP's At the end of the day FX customer service A lot of times Will bend over backwards to help An FX stands behind a product
True Scotsman yes it would! For now we have the SK-19 though and it is super accurate, way easier to tune to your favorite pellet and power level, and more reliable down the road. Plus it’s made here in the USA and a little cheaper to. I will very soon have 6000 pellets through mine in .22 and have yet to have a single hiccup with this gun. 99% of the time it is in semi mode and everything I put crosshairs on is down on the ground. Trigger is what you would expect with a full auto feature and is very similar to my Benjamin Sheridan 392, very easy to get good with quickly. Zero regrets. I bought it instead of the impact because I didn’t want to wait for a month or even longer and the SK-19 was sold out in .25 and they had 1 left in .22. It was at my door 3 days after placing the order. Blue ridge Airguns in Virginia. Nathan hooked me up! Super good guy.

True Scotsman my Hatsan Bullboss is a great gun. Yes they are rough around the edges and mine is unregulated which I do hate. Some like that and like me want a reg. Either way it doesn’t matter I posted it on AirGun nation because that .25 is to big for my back yard and the SK-19 does everything I need and more plus after having it yeah that Hatsan looks a little sloppy🤭 shame really only been shot maybe 5-600 times and really hasn’t ever had an issue. Made a kill shot on a rabbit at 105 yards right after I got it and a few at 90. Bad thing is shots per fill about 30👎
I would love to see some Non-Pal (detuned) FX rifles for the Canadian market! Or more laminate stock color options for the Dreamline classic! either way good stuff!
This is the air gun of my dreams, small, compact and tactical but small caliber, not at least semi neither a regular mag fed. I understand this guns are use to hunt but when those companies are going to make for home defense. Biiig market for people that can’t have a fire arm
FX doesn't produce scopes. They are associated with Element Optics. We generally shoot Hawke Optics at the moment and don't have much experience with the Element Optics line.

Love this FX calm and collected.... but don’t sit on your comfortable laurels.... some small guys will be right up your buttskies with all that and then some so stay more mysterious lol
Is the power plenum compatible with the Dreamline classic or only the tactical version? Also to the other point, Jonathan was saying that using the plenum there are advantages for low power shooting too, I would love to hear more about that.
FX Dreamline plenum... does it work with the bottle or full length tube. Will the 500mm barrel gain 100fps or more shot per fill with lower reg. pressure?
Works on both bottle and full length tubes. 500mm .22 with Hybrids went from 780 fps to 910 fps! That's with the same reg pressure though. You either get more power or more shots per fill depending on how you set up the gun.
You just sold another FX to me. I'm sure all the invasive species won't be thanking you, but I am. The only thing I would like to see now is a barrel band for the Dream-Tac/Lite bottle for a sling/bipod attachment.
Fx needs to stop Inventing and start refining. My impact mk2 is on its way back for the forth time. It has never worked I paid for it in October but still dont have a working gun.
Ricky Downing I’m thinking yes. But without a FAC it would be kinda pointless maybe. Shot count is already crazy high with a sub 12 foot pound gun. But I don’t know anything about the other Beni fits it could give a rifle in that configuration. It could do other cool things beside increase power and performance for the FAC versions and maybe make a sub 12 even more efficient and even quieter if that’s possible. Still, I don’t see why you all couldn’t get them. I think they are around 100 dollars US.

@@cdh3671 Yeah I called utah airguns about 2 weeks back (the 3rd time my impact mk2 arrived broke) and asked about it. They told me not gonna happen. The barrel shroud is thicker on the compact which also prevents a bottle from fitting. multiple problems preventing it. My dreamtact is awesome never a problem, My impact is garbage never works.
Nice gun at hefty price though.... Couple of questions coming to my my mind: Why someone has to pay 1300€ to get a gun without a butt stock and then another 30€ to get the extra plenum.... It's just a piece of metal pipe for god's shake.... Get it in the gun from the first place!!! Also, seeing friends getting their hands on fxs, they start with the basic gun (around 1k), but in few months ending up with 2-3k due to additional gear added up to the initial "investment". For sure the "Lego" phylosophy of FX has greatly benefited the logistics of the manufacturer and the demand service of the growing customer base but has it really provided a cost effective quality product? At the end of the day we see now airguns to cost more than quality made firearms... and what for, plinking and pest control? Come on... FX has made wonders marketing wise, they really drove the industry ahead, but still need to work on their delivery performance, rivals wait around ..
I bought a impact mk2 in oct. I have yet to get a working gun. I just sent it back for the 4th time. I wouldn't care about the price if it actually worked.
Obviously Mr "just screw this in" to get 100 fps, is either clueless , or just another used car salesman. Supposedly they are "working" on a fix, so I'll wait on what that will cost. Nice gun other than that.

The power plenum does not fit on the gun in this video, (compact) the adaptor is going forward and hit the barrel. :-(

This is a take down rifle. There is nothing compact about it when ready to fire. For people with more money than sense.
