.177 caliber bb's and pellets can be shot through this virtus pcp rifle because the belt housing (mag) is the same as the MCX/MPX .177 rifle. You would need the .177 belt from a mcx/mpx rifle. The only issue is that accuracy is decreased as the .177 projectiles are being shot through a .22 barrel. (they have more slack to move up and down the barrel).
I have one and it's just awesome. When Sig Sauer changes the air tank for a bigger and powerful one, it's gonna be incredible, well it's already is. And Steph is a great seller. Good and fun video.
Finally! I (and many others) have been waiting for soooo long for this one to be out on the market. I really like my .177 co2 version. But after it shooting a bit "hotter" than as og, it cools down faster also. So; I'd really like the PCP version for consistent shotpower output. Never bothered to play around with HPA conversion kits for the co2 rifle. And I think the 200 shots per fill sounds good enough. I shot 7+ mags with the co2 MCX - therefore I think 6+ mags sounds more than enough. Too bad all of my .177 belts are useless with the .22.😂. Imo Sig oughta sell belts separately ("in bulk") for these, so would not have to get extra mags nor plastic packagings if not want to. Hope the .22 belts (and rifle) works with the .177 co2 MCX's magazines..
@@Meloncholymadness i have actually seen an old video on YT where a .22 CO2 MPX is being test shot. Yeah.. the CO2 MPX/MCX was actually a new thing at some point.. And. @@Meloncholymadness The .22 belt is too big to seat .117 pellets but the .177 belt (off of a MPX/MCX rifle) fits this rifle (the virtus PCP) so with a .177 belt, you can fire .177 pellets from this .22 caliber rifle if you don't mind losing some accuracy since the barrel is designed for .22 projectiles.
@@OmarDelawar Yeah. They actually did those magazines for both .177 and .22 use when the co2 guns came out. Not ever seen .22 co2 Sigs for sale anywhere around here - but seen a .22 MPX shooting video on YT. No idea how many .22 co2 MCX/MPXs were made - but they seem somewhat rare to me. The old co2 mags do have that plastic piece that you can flip around according to the caliber size you wanna display on the mag. When the Virtus came out I just were not sure if they decided to keep the exact magazine - or would they change it just a tiny bit to sell separate magazines for the Virtus. Glad to know the old magazines work and you just need .22 belts.. And that is why I'd like to see them sell of the belts only and not force to buy magazines also along. I would not have mind at all if this PCP too woulda been a .177 rifle. Then the ammo woulda already been at home. I like that it uses the same RPM magazines that the C02 MCX at least (or at least we've been told so many times). Got already three of them. These .22 belts seem to differ in color in comparison to the .177 belts - which is nice. No need ever to switch the caliber indicator piece on the magazines.

@SIG OK Lady you said we talk you listen... Well then Listen up Please ... It would be nice to have a full auto pellet gun like this, BUTTTT That -doesnt- dump all the pellets out in a half a sec. I mean where full auto pellet guns like this are concerned a super high rate of fire is less fun then slowing it down QUIET A BIT, and enjoying it popping out about a pellet per half a sec or so. At least in mine and quiet a few of my friends as well.
Got a P320 ASP pistol? Pellet jamming problems? Switch the tiny spring (that is found within the very top of the mag) into a bit stiffer one. The triggerpull will be more ratchety and stiffer - but oughta work better after that. After I did this on my P320 it has not jammed a single time. Was the most jamming gun I ever had before that. Small springs out of an electronic lighter or a ballpoint pen. Cut a piece from the middle and test for your own best fit. Oughta do miracles.😊👍
You'll be lucky if you get outside 100 pellets, without a catastrophic failure - with the Sig Virtus. There clearly has been NO quality control over this product and in all honesty, I am absolutely disgusted with Sig Sauer for putting this out on the market. @@tomiliff7591 That seemed disturbing. Apparently not enough airpressure out of the valve for the internal blowback to reset the gaschamber.. But what is the reason it did so - that is interesting. Just trying to gather a list of possible issues this gun might have. Definitely getting one. These are kinda interesting guns. Got actually my old co2 MCX in pieces onca table right now once again..

It will be interesting to see them hunt with it. They may try to throw in some marketing that it is capable of hunting but ultimately this is a plinking/training gun. But you are right 12fpe is not sufficient for iguana. Would be awesome if they bumped the power up to the 20-25 range. Regardless if these get decent reviews they will probably fly off the shelves.
12 foot pound is more than enough energy to kill a iguana. Keith Warren and pig man drop hogs with 177 12 and 15 ft pound air rifles. And also southern gunner comes down to kill hogs with us twice a year and he has 81 guns from 177 to 457 priced from 299 to 2500.00. But you know what he always brings on his hog hunts his 177 calibers. If he can kill 125 pound plus hogs with a head shot. Iguanas won't be a problem. I am probably mostly interested too see how these are built, in comparison to the .177 Co2 MCX.
Will wait for the full auto and shorter barrel version. :)
That sounds amazing but I an't waiting.
Funny I bought mine it was 350 I bought it directly from Sig
Hahaha i wonder if you was one of the last 5 to purchase it
When I go to the pyramid air website, still says pre order only??
That's because they are all sold out they were all reserved they were taking reservations since March 2019 it was supposed to come out in May 2019 !!!
@@Marc-xc9yg thanks for the info! 🤙I just have to pre order it.
No More BAD LARRY
A .177 with more fps would be a fun little squirrel killer
Need those magazines for real 5.56
I believe thats a saw or 240 or something
Let me know if you goin to puerto rico im moving next month over there, and I know the iguaneros from aguada Jose. they cook the iguanas and hunt them too.
Tree Chicken yum!
I already see 200 rounds belt in SAW looking mag
300 for that is excellent. I might have to get one.
Please let the belt mag work better than their c02 P320
Got a P320 ASP pistol? Pellet jamming problems?
Switch the tiny spring (that is found within the very top of the mag) into a bit stiffer one. The triggerpull will be more ratchety and stiffer - but oughta work better after that.
After I did this on my P320 it has not jammed a single time. Was the most jamming gun I ever had before that. Small springs out of an electronic lighter or a ballpoint pen. Cut a piece from the middle and test for your own best fit. Oughta do miracles.😊👍
Pretty sweet but how accurate. The belt fed has me wondering. Can't imagine their aren't hang up's. Over pressed co2 gun
It is PCP not C02
Tell them to add a 1/2-28 unf thread!!!
You'll be lucky if you get outside 100 pellets, without a catastrophic failure - with the Sig Virtus. There clearly has been NO quality control over this product and in all honesty, I am absolutely disgusted with Sig Sauer for putting this out on the market. Thankfully I put my money else where, all thanks to a PCP Virtus owners group on Facebook. Not a single post that doesn't show a multitude of serious issues. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!!!!!!
Ha ha iguanas taste like chicken...and spotted owl...lol
im calling the police
I did the cops came over for the BBQ and agreed too.lol
Yes dope about time
12 foot pounds in 22 what??? Are we in the UK or the states??? Step it way up sig. We want it 50 foot pound plus shooting slugs other wise mite as well be co2 add a carbon fiber bottle and a better stock
How many lines did this Sig Sauer employee do during Day 1 of SHOT shot?
*YES*
Just got mine in. Just broke it did not last 150 pellets
What broke on it? If I may ask..
@@brorjordas1979 not sure I had to pull the charging handle back every time you wanted to shoot it and the fps was jumping out and down 50 to75 fps
@@tomiliff7591 That seemed disturbing.
Apparently not enough airpressure out of the valve for the internal blowback to reset the gaschamber.. But what is the reason it did so - that is interesting. The valve front o-ring seal might have been sitting so tight (since being new and all) the valve did not work properly. Or the firing pin did not hit the valve well or hard enough..
Just trying to gather a list of possible issues this gun might have. Definitely getting one. These are kinda interesting guns. Got actually my old co2 MCX in pieces onca table right now once again..
Hmm they saying $299 it’s $410 now
PCP vs CO2 versions?
That’s not caffeine it’s snow
Made in Japan stamped right on receiver, wiggly barrel , loose hpa fitting in gun making butt stock wiggly too and crappy forestock that cracks on bottom where 2 allen screws attach....and this was right out of the box before even used . I waited a long time for this to be released and it is a disappointment and the fps is not as claimed .
Very Nice
Fun for sure. A review will be coming shortly. Subscribe and ring the bell so you don’t miss it.
Since it's been over a year since you completed maybe knock a couple hundred off .
maybe shouldn't have snorted that last line guys!! Just saying
What is the trigger pull? Is it single action pull light or double action ( cycle the pellet with the trigger?).
Martin Peruski double action
Fps?
Claim 700 but im thinkin about attaching a carbon fiber tank with remote line am?
When it comes to rifles, SIG stands for: Here today, Gone tomorrow models
12 fpe is nowhere near the energy needed for iguanas. Neat looking gun.
@@randycupp5925 There will be some one turning up the reg. on it before long !
@@mikemills2420 Without a doubt!
Damon Miller dropped a coyote at 70 yards head shot with 13 foot pounds. Its plenty enough power
@@carolc9407 I agree. Some people are so stupid it's hard to read their comments without loosing IQ points. People in the UK kill rabbits at 80 plus yards with sub 12ft pounds guns. People in this comment section are stupid and hateful. ....SG is the best. I love his channel. God bless you.
Does it take GLOCK mags. ? Lol
😂😂😂 nice.
Shooting giant lizards with a 12 fpe gun is less than recommend tho.
Lol,, Rossi met his macth with her
These 2 act like this was scripted they work good together
Nothing you say about the virtus is true, it's no where near 12 foot pound, it's not semi auto GB version, and it's definitely not a small hunting gun, the grouping is the worst pcp if ever shot,
Don pay GB
Don't do drugs kids! Lol
She tweaking bro
😂😂😂
Skip the gun, I want her.
Van u sent to Indonesia....gw mny...
Tell this girl to cut down on adderall
Waaaaaaaay under powered for the US market!!! Come on SIG!!!
I agree. A .22 HPA would expect at least 20 foot pounds. My bottom feeding Gamo break barrel does that. But I think it could be a fun plinker gun. I myself, would hold back and see what might come next. Full auto hpa?? It's about time. No more C02 freeze ups..
Just another overrated label rider.
@@capesquirt dont think its co2
Itchy nose there gal lol
She is soooooooo hyped nice person but way too many lines of redbull
They do say at the end to go to Pyramyd Air $299, but it is pre-order Estimated in stock 3/2/2020. They are awesome and they didn't try and sell me anything I did not need. I am hoping for .25, .30, and maybe 357/9mm slugable with full metal clip with full metal belt. Sig Sauer Claus please I've been realy nice big bore for X-mass. P.S. please remember my friends that just Brexited even if they want to boil Pizza. I love limes & quinine in Jin and tonic also ( not while airgunning) cheerio! Maybe only British people will get the joke. G.B. is awesome. At the same time Soccer Balls are more dangerous than 12flbs in England.
I'm leaving a comment for myself remind yourself not to leave comments after drinking two ciders. But yes pyramyd air is awesome! So are the Brits they need a sig pyramid outlet on Piccadilly modeled after an Apple store, but with indoor range.
Full Auto or go home!!
