This is exactly what I have been looking for!! I’m wiring a few things to change when I press the sport button in my astra (didn’t come with it from factory)
I changed my motor on my cutout to a solenoid . I dont care about the position of the flap i either want it open or closed. The solenoid just makes it instantly open and close within a half a second.. makes me happy how quick it opens and shuts.. if im being stupid and shittin and a gettin i just hit the thing and go incognito mode with my airbag suspension.. just raise the ride height with it and boom, factory.. if only i could afford the electronic waste gate so i could hit a switch and change tunes and blow out the boost so it doesnt make pew pew noises.. would feel like some undercover shit sitting at a red light and all the sudden the shit drops into stance, exhaust opens up and all the sudden the sounds of awesomeness starts spooling under the hood and throws a flame out the side and pulls tire.. lol..
Will this work with a standard aux switch?
I assume this can also be a great solution to a electric parking brake system. Instead of using the exhaust cutout motor, a linear actuator can be use with priper force to engage the vehicles parking brake cable (or, one can use tesla/brembo calipers!).
This would be a very low cost solution to the $600 estopp kits!
is there a overload detection to stop the motor?
What would happen to the programming if the battery was disconnected? I typically disconnect the battery when the car is parked during the week to improve battery life.
Thanks,
Chris
Hey @timers shop, I am having a tough issue with a 6 wire single latched button. Should there only be one wire in each connector block or do some sections have to be connected to each other? Please assist.
how can i connect the black and red wire to car so it dont kill battery`?
Where can I order from?
