    Nice angle! I've always wanted to try this, might do it soon.

      Don't tease me LSTM. :) I sure regret only recording my final year. I'm glad you have been supplying me with great videos from your trips. Thanks.

    Awesome video! You should do this with a GEVO, because they have nice traction motor sounds. I’d also love to see more cab rides in the future like your CN SD70M-2 ride on the wainwright sub.

      Thanks SodaliteTrain. I have one SD70M-2 cab ride left which might get posted towards the end of the year. I have a 1 hour clip riding on a Dash 9 truck looking at the front wheel against the rail, but the traction motors whining is pretty much all you hear. I retired in 2016, so I only have what I took my final year 2015/16.

    That sure is a pretty cool view Shane. There is definitely a lot of movement down there that one doesn't usually notice.

      Thanks Bricks. Yes, can you imagine what it would look like on bolted rail. :O

    What was top speed ?

      @CanadianrailroadsCa  10 місяців тому +2

      Hi John. Freight speed is 60MPH. The video cuts out about 5 miles from the town of Viking where we would have had it to 60 if the signals were clear. Then, if signals remained clear, we could have held it at 60 for the next 40 miles.
