The fact is this. This man is actually living the life he tells and portrays to his wife. He lives his truth. Most people today aren’t and so I think men are trying to understand why they aren’t getting this from their woman. It’s because there are aspects of their life they still don’t share and it will forever leave space for question. A woman’s spirit can feel it even if she can’t name it. Lessons I’ve learned from being married to my college sweetheart together for 15 years. :) We are just like the relationship Eric explains here.
This is so beautiful and refreshing for real. The main thing he keeps saying is he communicates and he continues to learn her! He’s curious and he shows his love through his actions! He loves her HOLISTICALLY! This is beautiful! I respect E.B.
I haven't even started yet, but I LOVE when EB speaks about La'Mayia. I also love how he makes room at his shows to point her out, have the crowd hype her up, and show her love on stage. May God continue to bless their union!
This was excellent! What a gift to hear from a secure, articulate, mature man. He's present but most importantly locked in! This is what locked in looks and feels like! 🙌🏾 good for him & his wife and I hope more men take notes!
Great episode, love hearing black men loving and joyful as they speak about their wives. Conversations like these are essential and of course Nice & Neat!
I just started the video and I feel like a proud little sister watching this. I have learn so much from yall over the past year and im so happy to see y’all walking in God’s purpose for you. Thanks for planting good seeds, watering planted seeds, and helping your viewers with harvesting their seeds. Much love and gratitude ❤
Jalon said EB's music doesn't reflect the depth of this conversation...I disagree. He gave excellent answers that would have coupled well with journalistic research on his relationship and his music. His catalog is extensive. Songs like "1st Lady", "Reward," "My Queen," are some examples of how he feels about partnership, more specifically his relationship with La'Myia. This interview just reinforced that he is who he presents himself to be. RESPECT! Also, it made me SO HAPPY when he said CS3 was his favorite album of his. Same! We're ready for CS4! He's real for singing for yall! That was love. Thanks for the episode.
This episode was great. I learned there's a difference btw Eric bellinger the singer & the husband. I luv how he loves GOD, his family then music in that order. Luv this podcast #realconversations
I’m happy to hear you guys say you want to take initiative to get yourself out there! When I talk about you guys, I always say more people need to hear yall and yall deserve a bigger platform! I believe taking the extra step to get yourself out there will bless you guys platform! Rooting for yall
My favorite singer, ever! Love this episode because he really lives what he’s saying/singing about. I’ve personally seen him stop a show to let the ladies in the crowd know that they would not disrespect his marriage by touching him inappropriately. Such a talented man. Love to see him winning
Much respect to EB def stood out on Usher TD but before that already loved the track BNB so now I’m inclined to listen to catalog especially since he said there’s a whole album of love songs
CHANEL NACHO-SOUNDGASM-PART 3-MAXWELL FEATURING RUBI ROSE TYRESE MISSY ELLIOT CICI-TOO DROP DEAD GORGEOUS JUST LIKE HER. REMU-SOUNDORGASM-THE ORIGINAL ONE-444-THE ORIGINAL ONE TOO-SHOUT TO BEYONCE.
This shit is so good eirc he is saying a lot of good stuff a far as been a married MAN that I agree with that is so real and so true and very much so deeply side I respectfully respect it from à women's point of view my name is Shaquita creasy I love also how so much of a relationship man first and foremost putting his wife first before the music 🎵 business great interview😊
❤this. Much respect for him. It's annoying that dude in the hat seems to not be okay with his faithfulness and ability to ONLY WANT HIS WIFE smh. Sidenote: There are men out there who enjoy being with their 1. I've got one😂
The only part with which I Slightly disagree is within that part about men "making marriage sound cool" for other men: I was just speaking about this concept from a similar thing Dave East said but it was about getting his education. If one is an adult (to my thinking, male--the part that biology does for you + Adult--the part that results from your character work and development = Man) then why such an External locus of control? I mean I understand that not all people in general are as individually matter-of-fact and decisive as some, but that's kinda my point, the group think aspect. Why not just want an education because it's a key to personal power or in line with the vision you have for your own identity?? Why do you need some other male to "make it cool"? What does "cool" here even mean? This leads to my bigger observation: No one can just BE THE RIGHT ONE enough to negate the fact that YOU have not done the WORK to become a Man in fact--not in name only. The maturity has to be there WITHIN YOU to start so that you even can RECOGNIZE which woman is right. I find that so many "Men" don't individuate well, but they want a women to treat them in accordance with what so many of them have told women down through the decades about being natural leaders and whatnot, which then necessitates her submission (which also most of the time either goes undefined or gets defined by one guy for all)--makes no sense. The MOST important thing to lead in life is ya damn self. And women are not a monolith: no homey can nor SHOULD be telling you HOW to vibe with YOUR Person: that comes as a natural development resulting from the WORK the couple does. Also so many times I see where the one looking to another to "make ____ cool" for him, there has been no vetting process to validate why that one he looks to even knows what he's talking about. Anyway, that's the observation over decades now.
I hate that they were trying to find some loophole for bs on his relationship..it’s not that hard to have a successful relationship if both people are committed to the commitment as he stated smh
