I just found out that we will be having our 3rd boy. I have gender disappointment pretty bad, as this will be our last child and I wanted a girl so bad. Watching this actually helped me a bit. I have to keep reminding myself that if I was meant to have a girl, it would happen. My life with 3 boys is going to be so full of excitement, adventure, and love. I know once this little baby boy is in my arms, any doubt or disappointment will be gone, and I will love and appreciate him with all my heart and soul. Thank you for this video.
My mom had two sons. My brother and me. My mother hardly had to lift a finger, other than to cook dinner. By the time we were 12-years-old my mother taught us how to cook, clean, do laundry, etc. We also NEVER gave her a hard time. (To this day, we are dutiful and loyal.) My father made us do yard work, work with him in the summer and be handy with tools. My mom had it easy. She still does. Being a boy mom can be a piece of cake.

Maybe in the future, or maybe we’re done! I just don’t know what He has planned 😊 Something I LOVE about boys is that there is zero clothing drama. The boys dress nice for church and are pretty content wearing whatever. No specific expensive cloths needed - hand-me-:downs are how we roll!

At least until they were older and very tall and there weren't any hand-me-downs that would fit them anymore! Then, we started shopping at Salvation Army and other stores. Welcoming our first boy this August, and while I can’t speak to the “boy mom” experience yet, I do have to say that this pregnancy has been quite easy, I’ve stayed active, and the best part, I’ve had very little crying!! I thank the little guy with testosterone inside of me helping me out. I sure found that I have become more level headed compared to how I was before pregnancy. My husband loves it too! 😂 thanks for the video!
Congratulations! So glad you have had an easy pregnancy so far. Be on the lookout for post partum because sometimes that's when the emotions come for moms delivering a boy. But yes, having sons is such a blessing. Enjoy!!!
I'm going through a gender heartbreak, I found out I'm having a 2nd son and I really wanted a girl since this is our last one. I'm still processing it and their going to be best friends. Thank you for this video it really help 🙂

But as a mom whose sons are now 22 and 20, I can tell you that watching them grow up together has been the joy of my life. They are ABSOLUTELY best friends and I'm sure yours will be as well. My 4yr old son is super affectionate and always asks for snuggles. He is not picky about clothes either. He's just so much more laid back than my 5yr old daughter. My baby boy, who is 1, seems to be laid back as well. My daughter's strengths are that she is really focused and creative. She has to pick out her own clothes, supplies, etc. There is definitely more tears with her, but my son can get that way too. Your video was insightful and made me think of how my boys might be when they're older. We homeschool, so I hope one day they can assure me I'm doing well. I love that your boys are able to express that to you.

I can completely relate to the level headed statement! My Son is 13 and at times he seems to "act" older than me! :D I also have a Daughter who is 13 years older than my son and your right there was more drama with her than with my Son. Loving your videos!

You know there's no guarantee that the next child would be a girl, either. This is a decision you and your husband really need to make together. You may need to find another girl you can pour into whether that's a niece, a neighbor, or someone from church. Start praying about the decision together and ask God to change one of your hearts and He will.

My boy is almost 3 and another boy is on the way. Gotta say my boy is different from my friends’ daughters. Not Better but just different. Less drama but more fighting and yelling compare to those girls mom I guess. Things like he refused to put on pants and would runnnnnnnn around the house so his pregnant mom would chase him while yelling to stop. Or like playing so harsh and almost always ended up with crying from getting hurt. But that didn’t stop him from jumping off the couch or punching stuff around. 😊
You're so right about the grudges with girls. I teach vpk and even my 4 year olds would get upset with me after I put them in time out after 3 minutes their out and they're like " i still love you Mrs. Robinson" the girls literally roll their eyes at me and are mad at me until the next day. 😭

How do you deal with climbing all over you? I took all three in the pool yesterday and literally came out sore! They are literally ALL over me ALL the time! I’m going crazy bc I’m home with them all day (like lots of folks), it’s soo hard!
My son is 3 and he’s always climbing on me 😭 I literally thought I was the only one dealing with his problem he’s always on me. I have no personal space but I just deal with it glad to know I’m not the only one going crazy

My son is more close and expressive to me than his father 😛 . I think all sons are towards their mums.
