Sometimes I think I’m exaggerating things, I minimize my own feelings...not good at all, I need help.
I do the same thing:(
Lately, I've been passing though this too
Do you think seeking help is feasible for you? I wish you the best, and if you can, I really do hope you reach out to somebody❤️
Depression takes over me day by day, like a leaf on a tree in fall. Sad part is that over quarantine my grip is loosening on being positive.Starting to become a stoic person day by day 😔😔
Have you already been to the psychiatrist?
Same goes for me (〒﹏〒)
Same, but even without the certain tiny nonliving thing that enter your body that UA-cam doesn't like people saying for some reason, I would still do the same thing now
I can lend an ear, right here
@@kodaph with a sneer, on top of a deer (trying to add to your rhyme)
I actually noticed that I had these signs before I was professionally diagnosed with depression . I'm currently getting the help I need and I'm also taking medication . Everyone says that I seem more cheerful and happy but I don't really sense any change yet .
You'll be ok. Take your treatment seriously. 😌😘
Same! It’s a long road. Don’t expect things to change overnight. I’ve been seeing a psychologist for 3 years and taking medication and I still don’t feel right or feel like myself. The important thing is to take this time to concentrate on yourself and your needs and not so much on others.
Same, expect I've seen change for myself in just a year. I've struggled with almost all/ all of them when I was growing up, but the irritability and other symptoms didn't kick in until my hormones flared up (naturally, of course)
I feel the same. I don't know exactly how to explain but thankfully I have the energy to get up, clean my place, cook and etc but I'm still struggling with eat, sleep and other things... + my symptoms of other previous diagnosed illness seem to be coming back way stronger...
So it has been a year, hope your medication helped you out.
I’m very skinny and people assume I have anorexia but in reality it’s just my depression that keeps testing me every day.
@qwert ΔΔΔ I can relate too. It’s so hard. Make sure you eat at least 3 times a day and have some snacks. Anything you want. I gotta say it ain’t easy.
If your *very* skinny, You may have depression and anorexia.. The way your describing your body sounds like it.
I feel u. A few months ago I could be days without really eating anything. I don't like my body but I didn't eat due to a lack of hunger and motivation to cook or to buy food, as simple as that. I was just waiting each day to end for a new attempt of sleeping.
I started there: trying to sleep, then trying to eat 3-5 times/day, then exercising once a week, then twice, then reading once a week, then twice. It's working for me, I don't feel depressed yet.
Even if my memory is still failing and my stress margin is too low in comparison with before, I don't have more than 1 anxiety attack per month and just a couple of nightmares each week (this week they were funny, I defeated those fears while dreaming).
The strength doesn't come by magic, you must be the one to make little efforts to grow up your energy. It's hard, it seems impossible, but it isn't. Every step sums up
@@fluffybuns8705 no I am not anorexic. I have none of the symptoms. I’ve been checked a few times for it.
@@serjerbazo I am happy for you. That sounds great, how your situation improved. I hope it stays like that or gets even better❤️

One day I randomly discovered psych2go and now I get more information here than school
I actually had a long story how I discovered it
I wanted to see videos about signs of depression and found a vid of this channel, watched a part of it, left a comment, got to sleep and forgot about this channel. Until a guy with the name "a shy accelotl" respondet to my comment and I thouth: "what other videos do they have???"

I asked my “friend” if she would believe me if I told her I was depressed, and I found out that she stereotypes depressed people as being “emo” and “looking sad all the time” there are many layers to depression, not everyone can express their feelings.

I feel like a lot of people hear little bits and pieces and simply form their own opinions that are often not based on facts like “depression= very sad” which would be totally wrong! That’s why I appreciate this channel, it gives us proper and more reliable facts.
The aesthetically pleasing visuals are so calming, makes me forget how I relate to the mentioned signs so much.
im not diagnosed with any mental disorders, but after watching this i have related to most of these things
Me looking for the timestamps but UA-cam won't show me the comments:

I love how informed this channel is. Like you can tell they do a lot of research on the matter if they can make multiple videos on the same topic. Well done, and keep up the good work!
This perfectly describes me, I have all of these. I was doubting if I had depression and thought I was just feeling bad for myself. But this confirms it

... depression is no joke😔 it hits me all the time..ever since my grandpa passed along with my other dog few years later. Hope whoever is reading this is doing well.❤️❤️

The animation is amazing
I know this is a massive misconception. But i always just thought depression was just being incredibly sad. After watching tons of vids on it, i can see how wrong i was. Moral of the message: to all victims out there, im sorry. I wish you all the best 👍❤
Thanks

The most relaxing part of the whole video is teh voice i absolutely love it!
Thank you for helping me learn more about this. 🙂❤️
When you mentioned about things looking more grey, I thought about how recently I looked outside and it looked like a beautiful sunny day, but I also noticed that I didn't quite feel like I was at my peak happiness. It's was like I wasn't standing up to my full stature, emotionally speaking.
I'm not sure if I have depression or a different condition that could be mistaken for it, but in any case, I'm glad to know more about this situation.
I find memory, concentration and brain fog a big problem with depression. Even when in a maintenance phase I find my brain doesn’t work the way it used to before getting sick.
I want to seek for help, but my mom always says that these are just because of my damn phone.. I'm so tired of everything pls
:((
That sounds like a tough situation. I hope you have/find people in your life that listen and are considerate of your emotions and experiences. You still have control of yourself
Feel sorry for you..
She may be in denial? Most ppl don’t know about all of this ... it’s LIFE for many. Be true to yourself.
If your mom isn't supportive, try reaching out to someone else, like your family doctor or look online for other resources. Unfortunately, some people will never understand/believe your struggles, but that doesn't mean they're not real and that other people will feel the same way. Please continue to try to get help and don't give up! 💛💚💙💜🧡
I love the warm colors and warm voice its so calming

This is now officially my therapist 😌👌
This is the only therapist I can afford.
@@skaldlouiscyphre2453 yes this is now our therapist cuz a real one is like 50$ in my country 😔
I'm having all of these problems and I found out that I'm depressed I feel more sad because in India depression is considered as someone is a phsycopath 😞👍
Depression is still stigmatized around the world and more work needs to be done around it. I live in Canada and there is a definite effort to de-stigmatize it and bring more awareness to it, but it's a slow process. I especially hate how the media and entertainment industry portray depressed people ... usually as someone deranged or waiting to get revenge on people, or living in a dark basement. Depression presents itself in a multitude of ways, with different severities, etc, etc.
I've lived with depression for 20 years now and it's still a struggle at times and I've never told anyone about it due to the stigma (only my doctor and pharmacist knows). I don't think anyone I know would think I'm a psychopath, but I know they would look at me differently and treat me differently, which is something I definitely don't want.
I hope you can find someone who can support you through your struggles.💛💚💙💜🧡
@@CrazyPlantLady911 nobody likes me
Some other signs include isolating oneself from social groups, feeling 'numb', and anxiety. My friend who has depression would not respond for a day or two when I check out on her because she was probably going through a really bad day. However, she will get back to me once she feels a little better or if she wants to talk.
This is the real face of depression... the real rappresentation of it. It affects your general approach to life overall, from your sleep and eating schedule to how you see the world around you. Personally I struggle a lot with short term memory and brain fog at work. It seems I can't remember my tasks, dates or either the names of my collegues. I'm always so afraid. There's also the physical pain on my neck and back and a general sense of burden on my body and legs. I think these sides of depression are kinda debilitating in some ways and difficult to point out or even explain to other people. They can see there's something off but they don't get it.
Meanwhile, there's people who doesn't think you have depression even if you admitted or that they think you're joking.
If they *always* think that way, it's probably better to not let them help.
Yay! I know more about my depression...yay.
I especially enjoy watching those videos because her voice is so calming..
