Thanks for all the comments and suggestions!
I love work. I could watch it all day.
Thank you for this video, I just got 2 gallons and hope this deck correct stays on atleast 2-3 years.
I was really pleased with the results of the house. I used a combination of a brush and a roller, but it did far more than what the Sherwin-Williams brand that is similar had done two years before. Highly recommend it
Looks good great video Thanks 👍
Great job!
Thank you for sharing. We’re currently doing a combination of the Cabot solid stain on our deck floor and the Deck Correct on the rails and it’s looking good so far, just hoping it holds up. Yours turned out great, well done to your lady
Going to use this on the roof of my redwood gazebo. Hopefully will give me a few more years before I have to replace boards.
GJ similar products tell you to use their thinner stain to get into spaces between boards then add the restored. But you deck looks good from the video. Thank you.
I just switched to Deck Correct. Looks real good. I think the problems with these deck restoring paints is they dry hard and brittle. In Michigan, I get both temperature extremes. I think the temperature expansion is different between the paint and wood deck, so any adhesion gets severed. You gets cracks, water seeps in, any adhesion is gone. I blew some leaves off my deck last fall and the 4 year old Valspar Skid Not paint was blowing off in sheets.
Just got our deck replaced, eill be using this after the nea wood weathers a bit. I hear it's not a good idea to use any products on brand new wood.
You need to use a brush on all the seams to get it on the sides of the boards a bit. If you don’t it will peel.
Now that you're 2 years into it, how has it stood up? Any peeling or checking? I'm in the middle of power washing and sanding now - trying to figure out what product to cover it with.
Three years later, I wonder how well it has lasted. Peeled? Flaked off? (Like Rustoleum RockSolid)
I bought a home with 30 year old deck had it powerwashed a nd refinished my neighbor thought i replaced the whole deck now every two years i will power wash and add a fresh coat
Just moved into our house March 30th and want to maybe use this. What is the name of the color you use? Would you recommend using primer or just applying this first? Should I use deck wash? Thanks.
Should you use a primer first and can you paint over the deck correct???
Does the product fill in and cover over the deck screws? I'm concerned that with it being so thick, and filling in cracks, will I ever be able to fit a bit into the deck screws and unscrew them.
Some say... Vanessa is still out there painting that deck.
Wonder if you can use over a painted deck?
