That Maus bit was HILARIOUS!
That opening scene happened to me years ago, but in a pair of ducks. Definitely got my sharpshooter badge for it, with a series of up to 50 non-missing shots(I can't remember how much ammo the things have, but we fired just about all of it....). Took us a good half of the match trading shots as we drove in circles at short range, until the KV-1 that was watching with amusement the whole time got bored and killed me....

I can feel his pain when other teammates started shooting at enemy mouse. After Mouse nerf the mission is damn hard…

The problem was that the guy was too dumb to read the mission requirements: It's 12k combined (taken, dealt AND blocked). No one stopped him from farming 3k dmg and getting the mission done

Probably been said already, but that damaging hit on the Kranvagn's turret happened as the enemy tank was traveling down an incline, which brought the armor a lot closer to 0 degrees
You are right but I feel nevertheless he had RNG luck for over a week in this single replay. I'm happy for him and his result - but man there were lots of lucky hits in there...
I've heard of "impotent," but that opening Maus battle is just... I laughed, I cried, I laughed again.
At least they didn't sling gold at the first opportunity. I salute both of them for that.
@@timeforgottenprince8271 yep they got from me props to for not instantly press 2 and trying it the normal thought way to fight, because such players are a rarety now a day ins wot. For Myself i play only AP, first when my tank gets hit with any gold ammo, i give them their "Skill" back, i still wish they would even when just for a test phase would open a 3rd server where it would be like in the "back to origin event" (or how it was called) where they would run a limitation on that 1 server and observe how many player would actually would play and how tanks perform there by the simple fact when gold ammo is limited, and i mean the event where they gave us a week with the old mechanics from wot, but i only would love to see a 1 month "test" server to see how the community likes it and how the tanks performing,

Jingles, sir, the reason you don't see him actively use the hydro-pneumatic suspension is that he doesn't need to. The STB-1, in common with the rest of the tier 8-10 Swe mediums have that feature activate automatically when driving slower than 20 kph or so.
Since when has our beloved overlord let himself get bogged down in his commentary with that annoying thing called accuracy?
Now if only Wargaming would fix that hydropneumatic suspension so that it works correctly. As it stands now, the STB-1 and the Tier 8-10 Swedish mediums can only tilt the tank for extra gun depression over the forward and rear arcs. But such suspension should also be able to tilt the tank from side to side, as seen in this video of a Type 74 (production model of the STB-1):

So, when the unstoppable force meets the immovable object, by definition, nothing can happen. If those properties of theirs are absolute, they *must* move through each other without a hitch.
i believe the answer is that energy will be released one way or another, if not by moving the object, destroying it (producing heat and light in the process)
Immovable object by its described properties must generate unstoppable force of its own for it to be trully immovable. So this situation is just two unstoppable forces going at each other, at which point they will (assuming perfect balance) just cancel each other and reach some kind of equilibrium

@@nazamroth8427 Sure they were. "unstoppable" is just a measurment. Put there instead an "infinity" and if you would have two identical infinities using their numbers against each other, you would end up with 0
That is why I put assumption of perfect balance there. Generaly you can not subtract two infinities from each other because you can not define them properly like with finite sets. But if you would postulate that they are identical in everything, that is sufficient definiton for it to work.
@@iglidor realy interesting, i think there is 2 points on view here: Math and Physic.
Of course in math it make sens that infinity cancels each others out, but in physic (when the force and object are correctly defined) it's a little bit more complexe than that.
I'm no scientist but in the real world things doesn't behave like this.
However, since is just a thought experiment maybe pure math is the apropriate way to define the result. don't know.

"Actually Jingles": the STB-1 got his suspension when the swedish medium tanks were introduced in 2019
and the AMX-AC-48 has an 3-Shot autoloader with the 120mm gun, way more penetration and almost the same soft-stats. Only the dpm is less then with the 100mm. I would prefer the burst potential aswell.

The AC 48 not being able to mount a rammer is the only reason the non-autoloader 100mm has lower DPM. They should've really buffed its reload when they removed the ability to mount a rammer on it.

It would be hilarious to see the last to tanks standing be two Mauses in a one on one standoff and then they both run out of ammo

That was some great plays by the STB-1, he made so many good decisions in the battle and had more than a dose of good luck.
I love the beginning. This is beautiful to see 2 players so respectful between them to not using gold ammo and fighting only with AP even if they know this will be very tough. Love it

As a War Thunder player that opening watching a Mause change directions in a fraction of a second is just hilarious, though I am a bit jealous that it seems like it is a decent machine in WoT. In WT it is just a meme machine.
That intro reminds me of the olds of this channel. When these types of videos were really common and I actually played and liked WoT while watching them.

In this episode, jingles features a maus and his friend very clearly mission rigging for some reason, now many people will send in replays of them rigging missions. His old boomer eyes must have missed these events somehow. And then we get the main feature, the stb replay.
@paul bean not as rare as you might think, it can happen quite frequently if you play enough games. Though anyone here should be aware of the phrase "throw enough shit at the wall, eventually some of it will stick." Just because it's unlikely doesn't hide how obvious it is, the mouse didn't fire a round of gold and I can assure you this isn't for "honor" or something similar, he chose not to fall back and continue to bounce off the thickest of his armor. The guy we were watching did the exact same as well. In an attempt to get just a little more blocked at the end the maus drove in front of his friend, this wasn't an act of respect as some have claimed, this was "I'm so close to getting my mission done just live a bit longer" where as his friend didn't shoot the 5 people swarming him and bounced off the maus once more. It's mission rigging, and stupidly obvious at that. Don't try and defend it.
That opening sequence with Mine...Mine...Mine made me laugh harder than I thought I would
I dont know what it is but this video is one of my favorites.
The edits and comedy are very well timed all combined with a very fast paced and intense game.

Jingles, I want to thank you for introducing me to Elite Dangerous. I had to have more so I started watching ED videos from a whole slew of players. I soon decided I wanted to play this game so I concentrated on videos telling new folks how to get started. Now, I'm 73 years old, don't learn as much or as fast as I used to, and often have to have the information repeated over and over before I get it. (It sucks getting old, doesn't it.) So, when I discovered The Gamers Show I knew I had found my teacher. Instead of saying we need to do this task and this task he told us HOW to do each task. By watching his instructions I can watch his videos until each task is imprinted on my brain. Jingles you will always be my number one gaming entertainer but I'm going elsewhere to learn ED. But, again, thank-you, thank-you thank-you.

you see this happen every time...someone gets behind you and you just keep backing up...even if you have a turret get something solid behind you and just turn when they try to circle behind you...they cant go through cliffs and select buildings...just dont panic and continue to back up

The Maus were both just two chads on different teams. Both had the respect to not fire a single round of gold at eachother.
How is it respectful? You are literally crippling yourself from a game mechanic. Do you call it respectful when someone doesnt use their gun to fire a single shot in the entire game? Or is it respectful not to press w at any point of a game?

Artifical skill? Isn't it a skill in itself to be able to choose the right ammunition type to fire? Both of the players chose to be useless, probably they were tomatoes and didn't know how to play the game any better and i dont blame them, but playing bad isn't "respectful". There is 0 respect in being a tomato.

Buddy look at his aim and control of the vehicle he has no clue what he is doing, that maus was clearly a mediocre player at best who was eighter trying to get a blocking mission done or too stupid to choose the right ammunition type. And i still dont get how it's respectful to be useless by not playing the game as it was supposed to, theres literally no difference in choosing to not load the right ammunition and dealing no damage in comparison to choosing to not fire your gun at all and dealing no damage.
Gotta love that tier 10 economy at work. 11k damage, fired only 10 premium, loses nearly 40k credits with a premium account
He fired 15, not 10. And he was also using full premium consummables. Do you really expect to make a profit running this type of setup ?
I think my point still stands though. plus, 2:1 standard to "speshul" rounds is probably quite light on the gold for the current t10 meta. its just sad is all. I wanna play my t10's competitively and not have to spend 4 games cred farming at t8 afterwards

What's sad is if he would have killed the udes, which was possible because of the terrible armor on the udes, he might have gotten the fadins medal because he only had 3 rounds of HE at the time of his death
Many years ago in my Valentine II in the village on Dragon Ridge I rounded a corner and came face to face with another Val II. There was no room to outflank so we both sat there and blasted gold ammo at each other, both of us doing zero damage.
Shame for the maus, 70% of maps aren't adapted for it.
Gold spam just ruins it but had good battles in this beast

Don't know if there is a misunderstanding on your part, but you don't need to activate the pneumatic suspension. It automatically activates under a certain speed. You say you didn't see him "use it"... which doesn't make sense.
It hurts how much I know that Maus player's pain. Had to complete that same mission with honors for my Obj 260

Actually jingles... STB-1 is quite the opposite of the Leopard-1, given that it's biggest drawbacks are unreliable gun and relatively low top speed, which are the strengths of the Leopard-1, whereas its strengths, turret armor and high dpm, are the Leopard's weaknesses. Not to mention STB's relatively low alpha and Leopard's relatively high alpha. Though to me the biggest problem was that 50km/h top speed.
