Marco is the man. The icing in the cake for me, apart from his amazing knowledge/age ratio and absernce of arrogance is that in this video he is using a MR-G G-Shock ***CASIO***. Now I am officially your fan Marco. Greetings from Sao Paulo, Brazil
Yes, you showcased the JLC Master Grand Reveil! It's at 28:53 for anyone who isn't familiar with the piece. I almost never see this watch mentioned in the collector community, which is a travesty becasue it's such an amazing set of complications. A fun fact is that it shares the Kurt Klaus perpetual calendar from IWC. I fell in love with this watch 14 years ago, but couldn't afford the near $30k MSRP. Fast forward to 2022 and I picked one up pre-owned for significantly less. I think it's near impossible to get more value for money than with this watch. It rarely leaves my wrist these days.
As always your channel is on another level. Instead of showing the hassle, you curate the game. I’m a beginner in watches world and your context is great. What’s flex? Marcos watch killed it.
Why is everyone hating on Marco for being on another level. Its ok to be proud of yourself. He's young and clearly has a passion. Strong skill set. Dudes a G. Got brought into a company with over a billion in sales and they basically made him abother face of it. he'll grow into it. Atta boy I say.
I absolutely love this context. Knowleagable, not speaking about 'hype' here, but about the real reasons on why many of us get sucked in on watches: complications.
I think you did a video of this but if not it would be nice to get a video on the different chime models and how you got them on your list to do a video on. Chime watches seem at that whole next level with a function that is better than a tourbillon, my opinion, and what you said got me thinking of a comparison video. Great job as aways!
Not a bad idea.. I think it doesn't really fit with these complications as it's more sports orientated whereas this is dress focused. But that doesn't mean it isn't as complicated as some of the watches on the table 👍
@@MarcoFerranteWatches great point, love the content. As someone entering into the watch world this channel is amazing at appreciating the complexity and elegance. Do you deal much with Breitling or Tudors as they are a very attainable watches for someone like myself, looking to take a level up from my Tissot and Oris watches.
I think if this is done in a podcast format with an above camera for better view will have a better feel to these. The audio will have a better feel in my opinion
Good eye, it is! And no it was not a gift from Nico as one commentor mentioned, I bought it for myself. Absolutely love it, I consider it a High Horology G-Shock haha 😁🙌
Nice job, guys. Incredible knowledge. 👌 Im inspierd to buy my first wath ever and its a casio MRG-B5000B-1, first I need to figure it out a money for it. :)
Forget the hype watches that are all the rage now for our "instaworld", now these are the watches that have, and will continue to stand the test of time.
A minute repeater is a watch that chimes the time audibly. There are different types of repeaters such as quarter repeaters which chimes the minutes in 15min intervals, decimal repeaters which chimes the minutes in 10min intervals and so on. There are also different functions that can chime different time settings and also things like supersonneries which chime the time louder while on wrist. But basic gist, repeating watches chime the time audibly 😁👍
FINALLY!!! LITTLE BIT Interesting watches! NOT CRAZY AT ALL!!! The repeater and tourbillon are 200 years old........ So up your game dudes. Get some Jacobs, Cabestans, Christophe Claret.....
Love the content, but you guys need to work on sound quality - it seems that the poor sound is the result of poor sound proofing in the room in which this is recorded. Some acoustic foam or carpet would do wonders.
What imho is missing with the Tourbillon story is that originally it was made for pocket watches that were sitting in one position whole day. Wrist watches are moving around and really do not need the tourbillon. In a wrist watch it really is showing off. Nice shows though sometimes!
I'm also thinking you can easily adjust a watch to be accurate if it's actually kept in the same position 24/7. The trouble comes when you want the same accuracy if you turn it 90 degrees.
Yes we've discussed this before in videos. Technically, tourbillons are outdated due to the constant motion of one's wrist. But it is still a very historical complication and I find it to be the most visually stunning complication there is 😁🙌

As i say, i enjoy watching your videos - their history, their exquisite construction, their complication and you have taught me much, but i have come to realise you never touch on either the functionality of wearing a watch like this day to day - is it rugged, durable? - or the jewellery aspect. Take for example the Rolex "Rainbow" is it called? To me it is a pretty womans bracelet with an inconvenient watch face in the middle of it. What i am trying to articulate is the perennial discussion of "Form & Function". BTW., the MB&F twin chronograph is an absolute work of art - both form & function. Roman's love for Nico is clearly obvious as he has hired a younger, less abnoxious but somehow way more smug Nico in Marco lmfao
Stop creating a fake feel good narrative. They are nothing alike other then being extra fleshy and pasty white.

It's an absolutely insane value considering all the functions this watch holds. JLC so underrated for sure 😁🙌
Big fan of all of your content…definitely need more of this type of videos. Marco is a great add to LB team!

The Breguet video, the Daniel Roth special in the last GM episode and now this... The LB's content is getting better! Well done.
Marco casually rockin' a God Tier while talking about complications!
Haha yes I love my MrG 😁🙌
The knowledge these guys have is insane!
where would you guys rank the IWC Il Distriero Scafuscia?
More complicated probably than all the watches in the video. Crazy piece of horology 🤯🔥
Incredible. The love for horology is apparent. So refreshing to see a walk through complications without a nod to what many would consider a flex.
So glad to hear this! Thank you for your support 🙏
Another great show. Entertaining and educational! Your passion shines through.
Really glad to hear this! Thank you for your support 😁🙏
How do they do the perpetual calender for leap years? Is it an element within the watch that takes 4 years to reset? It blows my mind how they do it
Yes usually perpetual calendars will have a gear system with specific gear ratios they follow to engage change of dates, months, leap years, etc. 😁👍
great vid as always, love the horology convos
Awesome to hear this! Thank you for your support 😁🙏
I might not Marcos to sell me a watch but he can run a class teaching about different watches I’m for it ! Great job fellas

The new 5316P with the smoked sapphire dial is incredible though 🤯🔥
