Activating your fieldspell in the first game at the end of your turn "just because you can" was a really big misplay. The fieldspell has an on activation monster negate effect it didn't matter in the end but in a different game that monster effect negation can win or lose you the duel you always wanna hold onto that card in your hand if you don't have a reason to use it.

If you're playing them with Kash and Tear, then that beats the purpose of playing them.
I was attempting to play them in a competitive and useful way that places them at the center of the strategy, I'd be confident in claiming that the decks construction places the Earthbound cards firmly at the heart of the deck and not just as some add on to a powerful deck
