Well said, I can relate to the part about taking a break from a game if it's not fun; I love Tekken, have friends to play with and dream of becoming good, but it stopped feeling rewarding. I took a really short break, just went back and had most fun since I can remember - feels good!
"Don't allow yourself to play games you hate because you feel like you need to in order to find success" is something I've only just recently learned and I hope a lot more people tend to learn. After being frustrated with some of the newer games, I've rekinkdled my love of older games and given them a fair chance, and if there are other similar people who feel like giving those old games the light of day, then fighting games never truly die. They just need the right people to interact with them.
Growth and improvement is an incredible rush, but stressing for growth and improvement is a terrible tailspin. Sounds like you got a healthy outlook on everything now! Took me awhile to get there too.

You've convinced me to join on several gaming journeys. Then abandoned me an island without a boat

I really enjoyed hearing your perspective on this, nice video
Everytime Loops uploads i get the buggest grin on my face. If everyone could have their demeanor when playing games, society would enter a golden age

I really think this is gonna be how it is when I get back to fighting games. I'll do my best but however it is, it is, and I'll just have some fun.
