- Well it’s that time again to uncover the pond and see how our fish did in the last 7 months being in hybernation. This year we get into the details of the job to help others understand all the work behind the hobby.

Hi Paul & Kathy,
You know it's definitely Spring in Newfoundland when the annual 'Uncovering of the Fish' ceremony takes place. I'm thinking that Paul probably fancies the traditional poetic name for a group of pond fish here: a Troubling of Goldfish. 🙂 I can remember when you were building that pond and one of the best sequences was a digging trip in the truck looking for a not-too-deep spot to harvest some pond specimens before the authorities arrived!
Fred you have a good memory. Oh don’t worry, she still tries to get my on those trips to look for weird things in the water while she waits in the vehicle lol. If the police came up on us and I was in the water she’d just say she didn’t know me lol. I like the pond. Once up and running it’s only to keep the one filter clean and feed the little buggers. Hope you’re doing well and thanks for being here for this long.
Paul & Kathy got find school of fish . Spring coming to the ROCK 🪨.
Maybe the crowd is ready for a fresh sushi dinner!! Great to see the pond come back to life.
Good evening Paul and Kathy. I enjoy seeing your pond. I'm glad the fish made it threw winter.
Glad you enjoyed it Mark. We lost a tiny one and a big one but we see at least 6 youngsters in there now. I guess it’s natures way my friend.
I hope that you have a wonderful day. It looks like it is a great day by you.
Hooray for Spring 🎉
Paul, always the comedian, Kathy has lots of patients for sure. Thanks for keeping us involved in your adventures. Next is the BX work, hope you come up with more mods for the BX2380, my baby saves my back in so many ways. Take care You Two. Robert
Thanks Robert. We try and enjoy these videos so that the viewers will as well. The last week of so I’ve been using our BX and man it’s the best. I don’t know how I’d get by without it. It’s parked all winter but comes out when spring arrives. I’ve got a few ideas on other accessories for the BX. It’s just a matter of digging in and getting them done. Keep well my friend.
The picture at the end of the video showing the pond in all its glory was much appreciated. It looks good when all cleaned up and running. 🤨

Hello Paul & Kathy,
Just to let you know that we enjoy your videos keep up the good work
we went to NFL last summer and we really enjoyed it we want to go back, the Newfoundlanders are such welcoming people
would be nice to meet you both. Take care have a good week. Gaétan & Lynn from St Bruno Quebec
🙋♂😉🙏
Good morning Gaétan & Lynn. We’re very happy to hear you enjoy our videos and even happier you enjoyed your visit to Newfoundland. It’s a very unique place and lots to see here. I love Quebec as well. Visited Quebec City, Montreal many times. Spent a lot of time in Sept-Iles and along the coast. That was when I lived in Labrador City. I was actually raised by my brother in law and he’s from Quebec. I worked 11 years for a Quebec company as a heavy equipment operator so I have deep roots with Quebec and its people. If you back to come back let me know. I never know where I’ll be at any given time but it would be awesome to meet you both. Kathy says hi. Have a great day and thanks for watching and commenting ………..Paul
Kathy you had a couple of opportunities for a little nudge to Paul. You guys are so fun together.
Mark don’t go giving her any ideas lol. If she did that then she would have known she was doing the pond herself from then on 😉
I remember the pond build!,miss these videos
That’s back a ways that’s for sure. Thanks for watching.
That was some pretty Fishy sideways Video Paul HAHAHAHAHAHA
I had to use my Tractor last week to rescue my stuck Goldwing. I have no Floor in My new building yet and it sank in the Sand. I had to pick it up and carry it out. I lost the will and friends to ride with anymore so I am going to sell it.
I let the Fire go out in My wood stove and was looking forward to the Warmer Wx, Ma nature says otherwise.
Fire it back up....
Thanks Guys.....
We weren’t going to do a video on it and then said what would be the harm. We’re just being ourselves so it’s always fun. Sorry to hear about your Wing. Well I never had any close friends to ride with and I’ve been like it all my life. I was always a lone wolf I guess but I’ll tell you one thing. I haven’t gone for a ride on a wing in a long time. Maybe once last summer but it’s always due to our work load but I’ll never sell any of them. This year I’m changing my ways and I’m going to get on the wing, turn on the tunes and just go for a ride. When I do that I feel like a different person when I return. Hey remember, you never see a motorcycle parked on the parking lot of a psychiatrist office. You’ll find the will to ride again if you sit back and think about everything the bike has done for you. There will always be sunny warm days ahead and a cup is half full not half empty. Keep well my friend. God bless
You can never have too big of a tractor if it gets the job done great video nice to see the fish come back God Bless you too 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏
You got that right! Only a tractor guy would understand that. Appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. Hope all is well on your end. God bless you and yours.
Great to see the pond again guys, think we lost two since last year in our little pond. Safe travels. Ken.
Great video. I followed your advice last year and removed the "ice ring heater" and just used the air stones. All survived!! Thanks for the help.
That’s great Peter. It’s always worked for us. Thanks for watching.
Spring work getting reagy for summer. it's great!
Damn I thought our gas was high, Geez almost $8 a gallon. Love the banter between you two.
Yes it’s brutal. People having to decide weather to eat of put fuel in their vehicle. I think 28% of it is taxes. Thanks for watching.
Eat that fish! 🐟 😅 nice project !
Very sweet to help the cat 🐈

Always work to do. Today I was plumbing in the house. Doing some upgrades. You keep well.
You've put a LOT of work into your pond ... "IT SHOWS" !!! Beautiful ........ "Thanks" for sharing it with us viewers !! (Rick from Massachusetts)
Thanks 👍. As summer goes along it will improve. Have a great week Rick.
Turdo and Biden both are destroying our countries. Truly sad. Thanks for sharing the uncovering of the fish pond. Love you guys 🥰 God bless 🙏 you both from the USA.
Politics is gone to hell in a handbag. I’ve never seen anything so bad in my lifetime. Thanks for watching.
Love it when spring comes to Bay Roberts.
Us to lol. 😂
Paul did you find Cathy’s car keys
Yes I did. I found the remote about a month ago and it still worked perfectly. It had the door key missing in it and I found that about two weeks ago. The only part I didn’t find was the Support Our Troops key tag that was on it but we were still happy to have found the rest of it. To replace that key fob was $350.
Next on your list take your snow blower off Paul . 😊
I had it on the Kubota 4240 for two years and never removed it. Then I put it on the Kubota 5740 back in 2011 and it’s never been off since. Don’t see anything wrong with leaving it on.
Hey it’s 4-20 potday
