    I just fixed my wife’s Rondo following your instructions. Thanks for the tutorial! Was a piece of cake to fix with your help!

    This is an excellent step by step tutorial, made even moreso by the fact that you did it all with one hand. Thank you for posting the info, and thanks for the implicit heads up that after you do one of them, you're probably doing the other one not long after.
    Well done, and a great explanation. Also thanks for showing the only rivets that need removing as well as a couple of methods for doing that. Really great job!

    Thank you for recording this. My aged father-in-law had both rear regulators fail at the same time. Most repair shops didn't even want to attempt it. Some excused it as not being able to find parts. I found your video and realized we could do this. We ordered the parts from Amazon and followed your instructions. I don't think we would have attempted it without seeing your video first. And without your video, I can't imagine how long it would have taken us to uncover all the ways and sequences to disconnect/connect. Not to mention what we might have destroyed in the process. So thank you!

    excellent guide man! picked up a nice rondo for my wife a few months ago and she really enjoys it.
    rear windows have bang about 1/3 of the way down since we bought it. well tonight I was driving it and I put the windows down as the weather has finally cooled here in SC, and went to put up the passanger side and no dice she finally gave up the ghost.
    Parts are cheap and this guide is gunna make this an easy sunday afternoon beer drinkin kinda job!

    My rear driver side window is also broken and need to replace the whole panel including the motor, wondering from where you order and what to order please. I searched online but not sure what’s the name for the panel to order. Mine is 2011 Kia Rondo thanks in advance

    Wanted to ask how you like that hopper built amp I've seen in some videos. Looking to upgrade my setup and I like the look of his base models. Any input is appreciated

      If you'll be getting an amp for SSB then make sure he does the bias circuit like BBI does. If just for AM then don't worry about it. Only other thing I'd recommend is to have it built in a large cabinet with 4 fans for all the cooling you can get. Also, if he has them, pay extra for the metal clads. He builds a nice amp, only thing that sucks is he's on the East coast. I'd call him up and tell him exactly what you would like built. 👍 A few of my friends have purchased Donkey Stomper amps and they seem pretty decent as well. Good luck.

    Sucks to have to buy a whole new panel for such a small part. Might just fix it shut instead.

    • @vegasfordguy
      @vegasfordguy  Рік тому

      I thought about that since the rear windows rarely are used.

      @@vegasfordguy I ended up using your technique to keep the window at max height and then just zip-tied the mechanism in place. I did't have a tool to remove the rivets anyways.
      Thanks for the video

      It was a while back, don't remember now, but just your commonly used tools from what I remember.
