I've had good luck with zinc in rifle loads between 2300 and 2500 fps . They actually shoot better than cast lead at those velocities . You don't get the flyers like with fast lead loads .
I like the 311413 it shoots good for me out of my Ruger scout and my Bergara b14. I see you had good results yourself that 17 grain load was nice. You would think with all the crap said about the 311413 people talked on forums. That mold would cause your weapon to explode. With that said the forums are referring to traditional lubing methods not powder coating. I have to say with my mixture of lead the 311413 made a hell of a mushroom too. Nice to see the advancement of zink in this mold. I’m thinking about loading the 311413 in some 7.62x39 cases. Man those might work great in a sks or Ak what do they drop out of the mold at in zink
@@brokeloader Im pretty good. Most pain is gone at least as long as I behave. :) Some requirements to care for my wife tax me and Im quite sore come late afternoon. But we are pretty good. I have been able to cast a little and starting to reload again. But its gonna be next year before I can go to the range and shoot.

It's a vectan noble powder. I wish they would bring it back to the US. I believe it made my the french i think don't hold me to that though.

That is a good question next time I cast some I'll measure a diameter.
Oh man now I’m excited. The weight is almost right in line with normal jacked projectiles.
