I lived in San Francisco for a year and a half up until recently and the SF and Alcatraz levels in 4 are straight up surreal. Levels I played as a kid that I now recognize everything about from living in the location lol. It is an incredible experience

I associate Superman with THPS because the 1999 Pizza Hut demo disk had a THPS demo where you could only play single session in the Warehouse and the only song it had was Superman. I played that demo for months before my parents would buy me the full game.
So...until today I thought I was awesome at THPS 2 after spending 800+ hours on it. Seeing now how a pro player plays this game and how little there is to match how I play it, I have come to the conclusion that I am just good at it, if not average...still it was a pleasure watching you play those games. Probably. The run was done at like 2 or 3 AM where the event was taking place at so I think a lot of people in person were probably trying to get some sleep
skate heaven doesn't have any goals associated (and also is unlocked only after completing every skater's career instead of just one). feels like a missed opportunity, to be honest. it is present in the 100% run where all gaps must be completed. a fitting finale for a grueling five hour run
PC versions do look way better than PS versions. Used to play Tony Hawk 2 and 3 with keyboard :). THPS2 definitely is a masterpiece of a game. We all grinded the demo :).
Funny enough I've never owned a Sony console, but I've played Pro Skater 2 on PS1 more than any version thanks to one of my friends owning it when we were kids
