- Classic Game Room reviews VIRTUA TENNIS 4 for PS3 Playstation 3 from Sega. This CGR review of Virtua Tennis 4 from Sega has Virtua Tennis 4 game play during a video review of Virtua Tennis 4 on UA-cam. Virtua Tennis 4 is an arcade style tennis videogame where you can play 1-4 players, arcade mode or world tour where you create and name your own player. Virtua Tennis 4 is available for Xbox 360 with Kinect, Nintendo Wii and Playstation 3. PS3 version of Virtua Tennis 4 works with PS Move for motion control during Virtua Tennis 4 (but it's better with the controller).
You should get Top Spin 4, it works AWESOME with the Move.

This was an excellent review. It actually made me want to go and buy the game. I think I will now. As soon as PSN goes pack up.
@ChadzBeerReviews There's still ads? I thought they went away because UA-cam got rid of them. AdBlock works better than I thought.
I played the Smash Court Tennis Pro Tournament 2 on the PS2 years ago and I liked that one.
I think with the Move Control mode, they also wanted to create a Virtua effect with the first person perspective, with some 3D depth. I think it seems like a nifty idea, but I do agree, the camera movement does look annoying.
Anyway, good review. Virtua Tennis has always been fun to me, but I think I am a bit over the series. That World Tour mode looks nice however. Changes are always welcome when done right.
Review the Wii version, please!
I would love to see Mark play Alien Swarm and Magicka on the PC. He'd have a blast!

As a tennis player, I gotta say, you spend a lot of time in no-man's land, AKA playing in between the baseline and near the net.
they must use the move part of virtua tennis 4 to train pilots for the army to remove the ability for them to have motion sickness

@TTFAFF Yeah this one is newer. (2011 vs 2009) It's developed by a different group.

@DudeX01 I agree and I can see why. The PS Move looks a lot like a Wii remote clone despite Sony claiming it was unique and although they claim it marries the best of its competitors, it doesn't do any of them right. Oh, did I mention the games aren't much better? If launching the system with several mediocre to bad titles is bad enough, the best titles that boastly advertise Move support (Killzone 3, Socom 4) don't even require players to use it at all. What's the point anyway?
@Coolboy529 What about Portal 2? If you're asking for a review, the one from CGRundertow should be enough.
@InjectedWithAPoison You do have a point. I still think the Move is a failure anyway not just because of the ineptitude of the programmers working with the Move, but also Sony's botched handling of the device.

See I like MArk for this one thing... He is normal.
He isn't an angry fanboy who loves ONE SYSTEM and he isn't like reviewers who just give everything 10 because it means a promotion.
He just tell you the thing any casual gamer would like to know, "It is a fun game, you will enjoy it but here is some flaws that aren't that serious."
if u have a move and 3d tv this is a must buy. my girl wont stop playing it. btw samsung has a 51" 3d plasma with free glasses and 600hz refresh for $700 right now GREAT DEAL. look up the 490 series.

I'll stick with the Dreamcast version unless the Kinect version is as good as Kinect Sports Table Tennis.

VT 4 is neat, but it really can't match up to Top Spin 4.
got this game to play with the move big let down stick to the sports champions table tennis but the game is still great using the joy stick controls and also the 3d is amazings best game in 3d so far
I don't get why C.Wozniacki is playing for Denmark when shes from Eastern-Europe. Poland to be exact.
I like Denmark. Danes are a proud, brave and strong people. Still I just don't get why shes playing for a country she doesn't come from.
Good review but the ps move camera angle is actually what it's like to play tennis in real life - you don't watch yourself from a distance

Jesus, the camera on the move controls is absolutely nauseating. If they had made the camera work, the move controls look like they might be worth using.

so, when you prepare the french open you play on grass courts, and when you prepare Wimbledon you play on clay in previous tournaments. THATS WHAT HAPPENS FOR ME IN MY PS3, is this normal? cause it sucks.

i played this on onlive but im on wireless internet which is fast but just a little slow for onlive but it was farely fun but because of my wireless internet there was a bit of a delay so i stopped playing after a little while but it was only a trial so nothing lost nothing gained :)
