You are a consistent man Justin. You know what you want, and never settle for anything less. Love the new rig! I don't know why Dodge (RAM) hasn't tracked you down yet to be either a spokesperson, rig hunter, inspector or RV interior decorator. You know your stuff :-)
I love the old fiberglass RV's. no worries ever on the body or roof. I Have worked at a lot of Van and RV conversion shops and we even owned our own shop for a while. Nothing is better then an all fiberglassed unit! Nice!!!!
sweet! that is one pristine unit. I have an 88, not a wide body, not as pristine on the outside. you just inspired me to go and get a new paint quote, you will love the durability of these vans. you have a gem of a vehicle and the greatest condition for it's age.take good care of her, you'll enjoy her for many years to come. have fun!
Well my friend, 2017 couldn't start out with a bigger bang than this for you. Looking forward to your improvements. You've not failed to surprise us so far. I will enjoy the process.
That's a "deal" for a low miles class B. Glad you found what you wanted! The bathroom is awesome. My customizing suggestion is to make all the marker lights into strobes so you can enjoy while parked and rocking out and it also looks great and grabs attention if your parked on the shoulder of a highway for any reason. I drive a truck and have noticed a few owner/operators have added random pattern white and orange strobes to the marker lights on top of the rear of their trailers. Whether their broke down or just pull over to read a map or take a nap, you can see those strobes nearly a mile away.
Another Ram Van Fan here. 2001 5.2 L Roadtrek. 128,000 miles, almost all travel miles. Plan to keep for a long, long time. Good luck with your "new" purchase.
Ditto on the cab review. My Clipper is a '78 and it is exactly the same layout, only in '70s burnt orange 😜 We just took ours (classC) and left it at the Mississippi coast from the West around your area. Has about the same MILES as yours 😏 and we miss it, even though it's only in storage while we get our bearings. I can highly recommend the Patreon! Wife's channel is ours, and it's so NOT ebegging, it's like getting the paid Pandora or Spotify, people get MORE than the free version. Good score, and congrats on the new rig. Hope to meet you on the road one day. We have a stop up there scheduled sometime, so soon we hope.
You downsized from a Class-C to a Class-B. I went another route and downsized my Class-C. I dismantled the entire motorhome structure off my 1998 Fleetwood Tioga 29Z. Sold nearly everything that was reusable (windows, door, appliances, fixtures, holding tanks, and more...) I then spent $125 at a local auction and bought a used 72" double bunk aluminum sleeper cab. Once I install that behind the Ford E450 cab I will be installing a 16x8 flatbed on the chassis as well that I bought for $650 off craigslist. I can then carry my Jeep on the flatbed and tow my little 16' aluminum boat on my long ventures across the US. My years as an OTR truck driver showed me that I really don't need all the amenities of home to survive on the road for months at a time. Just a roomy sleeper cab...
Dude you scored on that thing! Drove across the USA in a 95 conversion Ram with my parents back in the day they are great vans and I love the front console table that flips out! Major score!
Congrats! It was meant to be - ENJOY! BTW I don't consider it Ebegging when you provide a service for the donation - your videos are very instructional. Thanks.
Crazy, I finally found someone have one! I got one too, 1994! I wish I could put pictures here. This Rv it's a bomb proof! I'm very, very happy with this model and ALL the amenities come with. I just wish was 4x4, but I'm considering lift this van.
Congrats Man! I'm in my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Conversion . Looking into getting a Class B Ram here in Ontario... something like this or your old explorer would be SWEET!
Justin great find there. Myself have a leisure freedom 2a 2003 ram van, it's awesome...looking forward to your remodels....storage is great in a class b.
I'm with you on the Dodge Ram Van. I'm on my 3rd. First two were the b3500 and I now have a 97 Xplorer b2500 w/5.2 liter. I like the b2500 best of all...lots easier to drive and maneuver feels more like a car than a van. Tires are a lot cheaper on a 2500 chassis....41 psi vs 80 psi on a 3500 chassis. Those Islanders are rare. I just saw one for sale in Ca. recently and it sold quickly.
Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice! I love that Islander platform. It will be a great jumping off point for your "creative touches". Coming back home to Dodge after the affair with Ford will be great. I can tell that you will love this rig! Congratulations!!!!! 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃!
I loved Dora, but I think this is the best van I've seen you in yet. Congrats on getting the new year off to a good start. I started watching you almost 2 years ago and wanted to move in a van and do some traveling but everyone said it was impractical because I couldn't make money. So I became a truck driver and did just that. Thanks for the inspiration Justin
I just love it! I have a 1998 Dodge Ram Van Conversion very basic compared to yours. But like you, I am a Dodge person-they just seem so solid compared to all the others. So Happy for your New Home!
I really like this one. The two things i would change would get a two burner stove instead of a four which you will never use and a single deep sink. I have a small house and went for the single bar sink and dishes became nothing to wash and freed up more counter space. Believe me it made a difference. The shower and bath are super. Best one yet!
Congratulations on your new RV. It looks great. Wife and I pick up a 2012 Pleasure Way on a Ford E350 chassis, 19'. The first thing that I noticed (I'm a retired auto mech) that you should perform on your high speed RV, is to refurbish your head lights! Safety!!!! Again Congratulations!! Travel safe!
OK OK OK - Where in the world will you be able to put a fireplace in that 20ft Islander???? This I gotta see 😃. You did great bro in finding that class B. It's nearly impossible to find a nice used one like that because owners will very seldom let one go. I had to buy my 2008 Pleasureway on eBay back in August - flew to Gettysburg to get it. I can't wait to see your's in person at your next border gatherind. You're a real inspiration to all of us so KORITFW my friend to the North (Edmonds, WA here).
Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! This is the type I was hoping you would get. I see so much potential here. The older vans are so much better use of space than the newer r/t's. I don't understand why the different companies went to the newer floorplans. This is so much more livable space. Guess the f/p will replace the closet. Congrats to you and Emmy on your new home. Peace.
It's just shocking what these cost brand new , we have to figure you got a great deal buying it used and still in great condition ! Good job with all your work on it !
Nice van. I like the taupe in the seats and accents. Take a look at modern decor and see how many use taupe, black, white, and a minimal amount of an added color.
LOL! I knew you would back to a van. Once a vanner always a vanner. It's in our blood. I went from a van to a Class A back to a chevy RoadTrek (21'). Welcome back to the van community, I love your new home. LOVE that huge bathroom. That's the only thing I don't like in my RoadTrek, its in the hall.
Hey Justin What a Great Find man I am super happy for you and hope you have a ton of fun I can't wait to see the upgrades you do and hope you will show the engine at some point
Very nice! It has the same dash as my Ram Van. I love how the top of the doghouse console flips open to form a table/desk. Mine is a 1997 btw. Only thing I don't like is the mirrors, they always swing back on the highway. Hopefully, yours has the awesome 360 under the hood as well. Congratulations!
Love your new class B Dodge! I too, recently purchased a class B Dodge a couple months ago. I look forward to seeing your improvements as it will give me ideas on my (new to me) van. Great find Justin...
At first glance I was somewhat skeptical. The car is smaller than the previous one, but seems to be interesting. Sometimes less is more. The double side doors are very cool in any case! A V8 in a relatively small vehicle is already crazy! We have 4 cylinders, a maximum of 6 cylinders diesel engines (for bigger RV!) available, and even with the whole thing then quite expensive in the maintenance. V8 petrol does not go with us at all. That would be much too expensive. This can not make a sow. And yes, everything is still mechanical and no software and no computers in the Dodge, is quite a good argument to buy an older car. Cool thing! :)
Back in 2000 I was in Calgary living in a camper that was in the back of a truck I had went out and bought a generator for lights it was a two stroke I got it in a bargain flyer kijiji wasn't around. Now I lived outside of where I worked and it was well lots of steeling went on! me being form a small town in Quebec didn't see steeling like this! aneywayThis little generator was so loud I thought I can't run this! I went out and bought a 1000 Honda inverter suitcase power system wow love this little unit it ran and if you were 30 feet away you couldn't hear it! This little unit can run a full fridge freezer coffee maker lights ect. it has a charger for batteries and if you want you can buy a separate unit and plug them in together. So I went back home to Quebec where my parents are and eventually came to NB. My father loved the little inverter so I left it to him and bought another one for myself down here. It basically paid for itself as it saved our food and got us threw several power outages. I recommend it to anyone doing RV-ing It burns about $3.00 Gas per eight hours if your unit doesn't have a gen I recommend this. They run about 1200.00 with tax but I got mine for 1000.00 when I bought it here. Here is a link to see them! ua-cam.com/video/p-bMaFt1-08/v-deo.html
Just checked out the RV after pics on your RV.LIFE page. All I have to say is wow. I am looking forward to a the full tour...... and then got distracted by the candy hangers WOW!! KORITFW. Peace.
It's perfect.. all of it, even the prints and woods are tolerable! Congratulations dude! You are smart.
You are a consistent man Justin. You know what you want, and never settle for anything less. Love the new rig! I don't know why Dodge (RAM) hasn't tracked you down yet to be either a spokesperson, rig hunter, inspector or RV interior decorator. You know your stuff :-)
I'm glad to see that you got what you wanted and can modify it how you want it. Congratulations!
It's wicked awesome to know the detailed history of a vehicle. Particularly your own.
Great looking van, I can`t wait to see what all you are going to do to it.
I love the old fiberglass RV's. no worries ever on the body or roof. I Have worked at a lot of Van and RV conversion shops and we even owned our own shop for a while. Nothing is better then an all fiberglassed unit! Nice!!!!

Nice 👍 Looks like a lot of fun! Can't wait for more!
Beautiful rig. Amazed by the amount of space and storage. And low mileage [kilometerage] too!
I can't wait to see that fireplace! Sounds relaxing and awesome!
Congratulations with your new home...
love to see all your tweaks and modifications...
Beautiful van, Congratulations !

I'm learning a lot watching all your videos.
Looks like a really great new rig. Super spacious! Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to watching all the mods you do to it.
Great find! Can't wait to see you re-imagine the space for a cool guys pad!
It seems like this motor home is going to become another piece of art as other ones before.
Another Ram Van Fan here. 2001 5.2 L Roadtrek. 128,000 miles, almost all travel miles. Plan to keep for a long, long time.
Good luck with your "new" purchase.
I'm diggin' it! Not too big, not too small. Cozy. Has everything you need. It should be easier to park with it not being huge. 👍
Ditto on the cab review. My Clipper is a '78 and it is exactly the same layout, only in '70s burnt orange 😜
We just took ours (classC) and left it at the Mississippi coast from the West around your area. Has about the same MILES as yours 😏 and we miss it, even though it's only in storage while we get our bearings.

You downsized from a Class-C to a Class-B.

That's nuts, I would never imagined so much stuff in that van..
Congrats to your new Home. Looking forward what you're doing with this RV.
Awesome! I just started my van life art channel! Cant wait to watch more videos like this! super inspirational!
Dude you scored on that thing! Drove across the USA in a 95 conversion Ram with my parents back in the day they are great vans and I love the front console table that flips out! Major score!
Congratulations on the new rig! Can wait till you put your JC flair on it and make it your own.
Looks GREAT!!! Its not easy finding a B with low miles well done. Congrats Justin
Love it !!! 🤠. Saying hello from Rockwall Texas
Love it. Can't wait to see the transformation.
Congrats! It was meant to be - ENJOY! BTW I don't consider it Ebegging when you provide a service for the donation - your videos are very instructional. Thanks.
Great looking van. Looking forward to future videos of your modifications!

Yay!!! I have a 3500 Dodge Ram Van, built out by Coach House!
CoolCat Carolena When will we see it?
Go to my channel, you'll see a couple of videos of it (I created a #vanlife playlist)
Beautiful buy! Truly. Congratulations.
Congrats Man! I'm in my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Conversion . Looking into getting a Class B Ram here in Ontario... something like this or your old explorer would be SWEET!

Congratulations 🎉🍾 I love your new home !!! 😊
Congrats on the new rig. Can't wait to see what you do with it. I have a Dodge and my last car was too, and they are reliable.

Nice! I'm looking forward to the upgrades.
You seem really excited - Congratulations!
I loved Dora, but I think this is the best van I've seen you in yet. Congrats on getting the new year off to a good start. hey jc. i love the new look of your motorhome. very fresh and in good condition. really hope you enjoy your now home. congrats.
This is a well designed and well built RV. One piece fibreglass top to ensure leakproof service. Great RV. The pride of Canada.
I really like this one. The two things i would change would get a two burner stove instead of a four which you will never use and a single deep sink. I have a small house and went for the single bar sink and dishes became nothing to wash and freed up more counter space. Believe me it made a difference. The shower and bath are super. Best one yet!

Justin, congrats on the new ride. glad your happy. I think you like fixing up your homes better than living in them. KOR
Congratulations Justin! Yea!! Nice! Have fun with your new home!! 2017!!
Dora the Explorer was my favourite, the Cruiser turned awesome also and I bet this will turn out great when he's kit it out also.
I love the new digs man 👍🏻👍🏻✌🏻
awesome motorhome, excited to see how you are going to transform it

Terry Twocents that's true. I see Islanders quite often on the road, but nearly never for sale.
Very cool. Can't wait to see all the mods your going to put into this.
Nice! I love it!

That's awesome. I've always liked Dora VS the crusier.
Congrats Justin, your motor home looks great! :-)
love dodge love the real gauges love the modern front-end. your a wise man and your van is cool. take care
Okay are we all going to pretend we didn't see the fuzzy handcuffs
I knew I couldn't be the only person who saw those haha
It's just shocking what these cost brand new , we have to figure you got a great deal buying it used and still in great condition ! Good job with all your work on it !
Roll smoothly Justin. Congrats!
NIce home u got there Justin! good luck with it! cant wait to the next video.
I do like that van! Love the idea they kept the side doors
Moto Ionic pretty much all Class B's have the original van doors. Class B's all start as an empty cargo van after all.
wow what a find...about 62k miles for us Americans...Way to go...that is a Gem.
Love dodge vans. This is one of the nicest class B's ive seen.
Nice van. I like the taupe in the seats and accents. Take a look at modern decor and see how many use taupe, black, white, and a minimal amount of an added color.
Ha ha Powell River, my brother use to live there. He's now in Comox. Good to see you back on you tube. Digging the purple wrap.
Congrats man! Can't wait to see what you do with it.
I cant believe you sold your sweet wood stove rv. I loved that.
+Billye Martin lol, that's the same thing people said about the RV before that one. And before that one...etc etc.
Cool new home, you seem like you have a new spring in your step with this one.

I kinda liked the old rig but I'm sure you'll make this a cool one too - congrats!
Those Dash's always seem to have a good heavy duty feel and ruggedness, kinda reminds me of my 96 Jeep Cherokee Dash.
This is perfect! Someday I would like to live in a class b, meanwhile, I'm learning a lot from my favorite UA-camrs. :-)
Welcome back to the "B" side!!!!!!
I have to admit, like your new home, good layout, good luck with it)....do not over do)
Uhhh I really like this one. I've been looking at a lot of Class B RVs and this one is my favorite so far (well, in my price range anyways). TFS!
"Minimalism is like throwing away stress!" That would make a great bumper sticker !
congratulations man! it's perfect!
nice! always a great project to stimulate the mind
you dont understand how i miss your cooking videos!!
Saw your photos on Instagram... but video is great! Nice Ram Van Man! It looks like it's in awesome shape 😊

DriveLongRoad my previous one was a V10. They made a few of the vans with V6 engines but never in something as large as this one. V8 is bare minimum.

I never saw one like it. It is beautiful. You must be in Heaven. Good luck. ciao.
Just checked out the RV after pics on your RV.LIFE page. All I have to say is wow. I am looking forward to a the full tour...... and then got distracted by the candy hangers WOW!! KORITFW. Peace.
Loaded with 90s Oak n Brass! I know you'll make it look killer!
+Matt Lane the oak and brass are two things I love and won't change. In fact, more brass on the way!
