Hey,so just out of curiosity, why are you having one premiere start immediately after the other? Do you think you could maybe put a few minutes between them, give people time to get to the other one?
@@DanGamingFan2846 There should be about a minute or 2 gap between the premieres - when this one ends, it should take you straight to the Amphibia one! :)

I love everyone's reaction to the Collector moving the literal moon in the sky with a finger. Like "Alright, we're dealing with a child god now. Great."
Fun fact about the collector: The walls he was tearing apart to "make the Owl House" was the skull of the titan. The very same titan who's VEINS are strong enough to bounce off most magic, and he's shredding the bones into small pieces without even giving much thought. The collector is scary.
Man I love how much ominous tension The Collector brings the second he stops Belos especially with how good his theme is. Also you gotta like the detail that Luz says I'm back and not I'm home.
Season 1 adhered to Disney's marketing formula, create episodes that can be broadcast in any order, make sure theyre all slice of life to draw the kids in without worrying about an over arching story. If the show gets a season 2 then let the creator play a little... but still make sure at least half the shows are still non-episodic. Disney does not care about grown ups outside the target demographic... or at least they havent much in the past. Season 3 was gutted to save money due to COVID closing the park - we were all lucky (blessed) that they even went for 3 episodes to complete the series.
@@timrosswood4259 Didnt mean to imply that it doesnt work, but it isnt suited for long form story telling arcs like Avatar, etc and creators that want to tell a story have to do it in fits and starts... and second seasons.
I was gonna say "oh wait till he sees s3 e1" and i literally forgot they are already here my brain went silly for a sec but its such a shame owl house was cut short, we could've gotten so much more backstory to the collector and the pictures willow's scrapbook in s3 e1 were supposed to be episodes i think, man if only disney werent such..............

I think the Disney formula, which you described, worked for Gravity Falls

Before the owl house was canceled when season 2 was being made. The collector wasn't actually supposed to exist.
Also the being from the Owl beast memories may or not be the Collector or someone his kind
He did exist, but he was mostly just an explanation for Philips magic. He was not an antagonist
