Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on UA-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on UA-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on UA-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

TTB is arguably the best band in America right now.
I won't argue with you! 😃
In the World!
Swede here. Saw them live in Stockholm, october 2022. Never looked back. They are the best live band on earth!
Without a doubt, the best live band today.
Susan Tedeschi is one of my favorite voices!!
Derek Truck is the extended family of Allman Brothers Band drummer Butch Trucks. He entered the Allmans' world from an early age. By his teen year, he had already sat in with
the band and, at 19, joined the group full-time in 1999. He idolized the style of Duane Allmans slide guitar and mastered it at a young age. He's now considered one the best in the world.
He currently fronts the Tedeschi Trucks Band with his wife, singer-guitarist Susan Tedeschi, and they often play Allman Brothers and Derek and the Dominoes songs. He was
named after the Derek and the Dominoes album that Duane Allman played with his hero, Eric Clapton.
.... and there's a video here on You Tube with him of that sit in! Amazing talent.
Best touring band of the past decade, and it didn't happen overnite. ❤
oh man oh am....now you're onto something really good.....a journey you have to follow....Derek Trucks (ex Allman Brothers) and Susan Tedeschi......enjoy !!!!
I strongly recommend I Pity The Fool and The Sky Is Crying which showcase not only Susan's voice but also her guitar. She plays her butt off and the look on Derek's face while she solos is adorable. My favourite example of Derek's playing is Keep on Growing whicj is the song that turned me on to them. He definitely takes you on a journey through peaks and valleys that leaves you feeling satisfied at the end.
Derek Trucks is the best slide guitar player today, he was a member of the Allman Brothers band and is the nephew of Butch Trucks ( r I p ) who was a founding member and drummer for them 🎸
Tedeschi Trucks Band are absolutely fantastic. The best live band in the land these days. Have seen them play every year since Derek and Susan put this band together. This is an earlier version of the band with the Burbridge brothers, Oteil and Kofi (RIP). Oteil played with Derek in the Allmans too. Now he plays with Dead and Company and his own band.
One of the great jam bands. Go into that rabbit hole, you won't regret it.
I'm such a big fan of this band. I began my journey with them when Derek Trucks was with the "Allman Brothers Band." Derek is the nephew of one of the founding members of the "ABB" Butch Trucks was the drummer and Dereks uncle. Anyway, I'm so glad you enjoyed listening to the "Tedeschi Trucks Band" I love Susan's raspy soulful sound and I feel sure Duane is smiling from above every time he listens to Derek play his slide guitar. Here's another one of their tunes, if interested. "Tedeschi Trucks Band - It's So Heavy" (by the channel: TEDESCHI TRUCKS BAND)
Ms. Tedeschi is someone I followed prior to she and Butch teaming up. They each had their own career going. Check out her fabulous rendition of "Hurt So Bad"; I thought Janis Joplin had been resurrected. Saw her and Butch perform at the Telluride Blues & Brews festival in the '90's, and it was awesome!
Awesome choice… I love this particular version of this song live… His guitar is unparalleled ❤️👍
Nice reaction. Song is written by the back up singer playing acoustic guitar Mike Mattison. Derek is easily the best slide guitar player alive today and it's pretty easy to make the argument of GOAT since Duane died so young. So many songs, Everybody's Talkn', Gravity, I Am The Moon, do them live! If you ever get a chance to see them DO NOT miss it, been there done that 5 times now it never gets old.😁😁
YAAAAY!! This song has the most beautiful chord changes ever (to my ears) pure emotion... And Derrick Trucks! Dive into his background a tiny Shawn ❤ so excited for this one. I'm pushing play right now 😁🎧
This is great. I also like the live version where they are in a big stadium because Susan hums a few notes just before Derek's solo. Both are great versions.
yeeesssss!
Man, Derek Trucks is such a master on slide guitar!
Great stuff. She's one great blues singer. Gotta agree with you, "Wow, what a song!"
Hey Shawn, been watching you for several months . This is my favorite band. Both Susan and Derek have had solo bands. Derek played in Allman Brothers for about 15 years while have his own band and was asked by Clapton to tour with his band for a year. They are a married couple . Check out a live version of I want More/Soul Sacrifice , The sky is crying . Always consider them live, they are the best live act anywhere.
Check out Susan doing Hurts so Bad on Austin City Limits.
NICE choice. Glad you are hitting this fantastic jazz/blues/rock band.
Really stoked you get to experience this great band of today brother. Derek is a beast on guitar. They each had their own career before tying the knot and forming their own band. Anything live is the way to go.
I have seen Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks separately, not yet together, and they are both amazing musicians, so together they are a powerhouse combo. "Midnight In Harlem" is a true tour-de-force that emphasizes their talents.
Really need to check out Bound For Glory from the same concert, Derek plays Duane Allman's Gold Top, the guitar Duane played on Layla, and Otiel Burbage, who was the Allman Brothers last bass player, plays Barry Oakley's, the original bass player, Fender "tractor" Bass
Some of the TTB band relations in regards to this version of the band . Mike Mattison who was playing rhythm guitar & singing back up vocals actually wrote this song . He was a member of The Derek Trucks Band with Derek & TTB Keyboardist Kofi Burbridge (RIP 😞) who is the brother of the Bassist in the Video , Oteil Burbridge who manned the bottom end for the Allman Brothers from '98 until the band called it a day in 2014 .
My favorite song by my favorite band. Saw them last summer, our sixth time. All fantastic. More please.
Wow to whomever requested this!! 💚
Susan is in my top 10 fave female singers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the gentlemen singing backup and rhythm guitar wrote this awesome song 🎶🎵
If you get a chance check out their cover of Darling Be Home Soon. Any of their stuff is great really.
In the last ten years the only concerts my wife and I have been to have been TTB and Van Morrison.
I love this band. They have some really great music. Thanks for the reaction.
Got to see them separately and together at the Telluride Blues And Brews Festival in 2007 and 2008 IIRC. Nothing better than this kind of music outdoors in Telluride with the mountains in the background.
In 2008 after Saturdays groups we saw Derek Trucks in a small, maybe 1000 people after show. What a great event.
Susan Tedeschi rocks man! Her album JUST WON’T BURN is a must check out but there are live performances of her at Farm Aid 1999. Then later on she began opening for ABB and met Derek.
I frickin LOVE this tune and their performance
MAN O MAN.......LISTEN TO THEIR SONG..........SWEET & LOW
Seeing them live with Little Feat at the end of May in Berkely CA. They are such a great live band to see. Great musicianship.
Been waiting years for them to come to my area . Finally and they are coming and I'm getting a total knee replacement couple days before
Her voice is amazing
I've all but given up on concerts for a lot of irrelevant reasons, but I have seen TTB a few times, and there as good a band as there is out there today. First, who tours with a large band anymore? They do! And just the finest musicians in this band. Derek Trucks is on his own planet on slide guitar.
Wouldn't you know it, down on my luck, find myself at midnight in Harlem...
Yup! ❤
Love this song. They have a number of great songs.
I saw Derek Trucks in a bar in Jacksonville Florida called APPLE Jacks, he was 12 years old and he was Shredding back then.🥁☮☘
Love love love your reactions! You make me smile right along with you! ❤
They're one of my favorites.
One of the most amazing shows still touring today!! Derek the best slide guitarist alive. Susan can play guitar too. Check ouI I Pity The Fool live at the Orpheum in 2021.
You'll never hear that exact version live,it was improvised.
anyhow @#1 Darling be home soon @#2 then - anyday
much worthiness here brah, do a deep dive, esp Derek Trucks Band....it was before...lol Great react!
Keep on Growing-live at the Fox Theatre!! It’ll 🤯🤯🤯
Stick to their live stuff, it's actually better then the studio. Derek's Uncle was a drummer and original member of The Allman Brothers. Derek was a child prodigy and had his first band at age 12. Susan has been a long time blues singer and guitar player.
1st!!
Favorite originals -- Learn How to Love, Part of Me, strange to Me, Bound for Glory. Covers- Keep on Growing and Family Stone Medly at Red Rocks with Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings -- ua-cam.com/video/ckCf1urfCbU/v-deo.htmlsi=mDmSmGTAyQ23V8Z-
There’s a better live version. She’s wearing a blue dress. Might be Wembly. Faster pace and better guitar solo
