It is magnificent if you think of it, and also explains why people can still be impressed even if the trick is old and more or less cheap (like the hat thing).

I truly love seeing Lyney and Lynnette, their omnious appearance and mysterious behaviour give the air thickness. Lyney's slow and calm voice gives you goosebumps, the atmosphere is intense whenever he walks into the room. It's so refreshing, characters so cold have such a soothing aura
Slight thought, I personally find it interesting that he's mirroring Focalors, sitting up on a high place, right leg crossed over the left, arms in a slight casual position with the left over the legs and the right at their cheek, and looking directly at the camera. But while Focalors seemed to be slightly looking down, Lyney is looking straight on. Given some of the ideas about what Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet's role is in Fontaine, I just think it's an interesting detail.
