Despite her indifference, Chiori is incredibly principled. What a hard-boiled character. Love it.

My mom is a dressmaker and I once stood as her agent for cosplay commissions. There were great customers and there were demanding ones.
It's hard to work on the quality of the work if the customer is so demanding and rushing. We always say to plan ahead of time but still they insist but don't want to pay the intended fee.
There were a number of those people who we refused because of their attitude.
Chiori's indifference is relatable.

Ok I wasn't excited for Chiori from hearing about her gameplay, but I forgot what a mood she is.
And as someone who works full time... I resonate with that.
I originally had no intention to pull for her ; but after watching the character Demo I was reminded of how much I enjoyed her personality , charisma and sassiness she had in 4.3 . I might reconsider and pull for her during one of her rerun because of her personality and Sass. But for me to decide weather or not I will actually pull for her if she has a compelling and interesting story Quest and background.

Chiori single-handedly became one of the most aspirated characters.
The funny thing is, Chiori actually isn’t indifferent. It’s clear she cares about a lot of things: her values of first come first serve, defending her subordinate coworker, her time, and the quality of her work. She just has strong boundaries and isn’t afraid to uphold them even if it means getting in trouble or being disliked.
You’re right. I think indifference is applied to her attitude towards people who don’t respect those boundaries

I love Criori’s relationship with Chevreuse. The two seem to keep many secrets about a darker side of Fontaine
I think it's less "darker" side, and more of the day to day. I think almost all of the Fontaine characters, sans the ones associated with the House of the Hearth, are in positions of power and privelege in Fontaine.
Whereas Chiori and Chevreuse are in positions of influence, yes, but also far more used to dealing with the day to day issues of living in Fontaine.

Skilled in her craft of the garment at a young age, Chiori honed her craft and pursued her dream in Inazuma, however, she was spurned for her indifference and not caring for hierarchy . As such, she left Inazuma and made a name for herself in another nation. There the same issues crop up from time to time, the only difference is she answers to no one as by her rules, first come first serve basis. Even though she tends to give the authorities no end of a headache.
Her transition to Fontaine may or may not have involved her former master and a most unfortunate accident with some tailoring shears. 😏

I work in a grocery store and tons of my clients once they realise they made the mistake actually take it well and apologize and say it's fine and then that's it. I actually let them go take a picture of the tag and when I zoom and see it's not the same thing they actually agree and then go fetch the right thing, or take the other thing, or don't. I live in Québec, Canada for those wondering. Those who try the "customer is always right" mentality usually are shutted up pretty quick by my superiors that are always around. XD
