Home made african drum UDU

After discovering this instruments on youtube, I decided to make one. Headed to the local discount homegoods store and bought a clearance clay vase. Drilled a hole in the side and kablam I made my new udu.

yeah I used my hole saw to make a mini udu....it worked but flattened my hole saw lol.

I can't wait to try this out. I was watching the video and thought there is no way this Udu is going to sound good. But, I was surprised. It sounds as good as, sometimes better, than others I have heard. Nice Job.
