Thanks for everyone’s very kind messages! I just wanted to add that being stressed at this stage is very healthy - it’s given me a kick to step up my work ethic, which is no bad thing. I’m also not stressed about the maths itself, don’t worry you’re in safe hands with me and my videos - I’m more stressed about wanting to do the best I can to support as many of you as possible… This whole experience of taking the exams from the pov as a teacher has been invaluable - I hope it’ll help me do even better to support you guys in your studies! Catch you in another video soon ✌️
Hello Mr Bicen. Since you are sitting all of the maths and further maths papers, why dont you sit the AEA(Advanced extension award) as well? That would be if any a minor challenge to you and Im sure everybody would love to see your score on the AEA. Are you gonna take that?
I think it's something for the future - I have got a lot on my plate right now! Haha maybe next year I'll do STEP and AEA for some super challenging stuff!
It depends on the topic, to be honest - but generally C1 and C2 are AS, then C3 and C4 are A2. However, this is not a perfect match at all - but you'll quickly see which topics are where!
Hi sir, hope you are having an amazing day. Thank you for your amazing videos, helps me a lot!!!! I just have a favour to ask. Can you please make a video about how we can use graphics calculator for A-LEVEL MATHS. I have already watched the video of calculator tricks. But is it possible you to make a detailed video on useful tricks for only maths a level on specific exam questions etc.
There is a lot of confusion surrounding grade boundaries, appreciate you clarifying how they work :) I've analysed them a lot for chem and bio and they're very similar each year. All the best for your exams this summer!
i see you have a mic, would it be possible to increase your sound on your videos since its very quiet for me, i think alot of other ppl have this issue as well
Unfortunately these videos were recorded a while ago before I had a better setup! The quality isn't as good in some of those - if you use Microsoft Edge to browse, there is this Add-On microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/volume-booster-plus-boos/aeogdmenggllbogklmegkefmpdngkgca and if you use Chrome there is this extension chromewebstore.google.com/detail/volume-booster/ejkiikneibegknkgimmihdpcbcedgmpo?pli=1

His sir, for additional practise which international papers would you say most closely resemble the a level edexcel spec (for pure and applied)

Thank you! I have covered most of what I wanted to say about the graphics calculator in that video, I'm not sure what more I could tell you about!

Thank you! It's still pretty opaque on *exactly* how they are decided, but it doesn't seem like it's a fixed method - we have to trust them I guess?!
