i can pause and hit play and get chills every time at some of these songs...such a badass and underrated album with such heavy ass fucking riffs and vocals
I love how trippy metal was during this era of time in fact one thing I miss from bands like Mudvayne, Chamaira, Primer 55 is that eerie psychadelic bad acid trip vibe that is completely absent from metal now
Amazing! SOOO great when you came out and gave the Nu Metal wave a kick in the nuts!! Saw you in Copenhagen on the Roadrage tour with Spineshank and Ill Nino. And how you were not the headliner is still beyond me.
Kasper Rottbøll Yup, they blew all that stuff out of the water. This album and Slipknot’s “Iowa” just obliterated the Nu-Metal scene. Much more death metal influence.
With each album you guys reinvented yourselves as your own genre. There is no other band that has chimaira's sound or groove. When a chimaira song plays, either one knows who it us immediately or one knows they've never heard this kind of sound before. You guys were never death, melodic, groove, or thrash metal. You were and always will be chimaira metal. Perfection of sound. Will always jam y'alls music.
My god that album's so brutal. I remember seeing ya's on the Machine Head, Fear Factory, Ill Nino tour thinking Ok, who are these dudes & let's see what they 're about. The following day the cd was in my daily rotation. & my neck was sore af. lol
How did i not know your channel existed!? Long time fan of Chimaira. I remember when i was about 14, i sat for days and days figuring out how to play Six by ear. i would constantly have the song on repeat to see how far i could get through it each time!
I remember hearing the song Gag for the first time as an 11 year old kid and being so struck by it. My dad had received a burned CD from a friend with some heavier music on it that he was about to throw out and I had gotten my hands on it. Up until that point I had only listened to classic rock and metal like Kiss, Van Halen, Judas Priest, etc. Needless to say, I owe that song and Chimaira in general for getting me into heavier music and broadening my scope and love for music. I didn't know it at the time, but it would become a huge part of my life. I still blast Chimaira in my car to this day \m/
I've always loved this album because it never sounded like a true "nu metal" album like Korn, but more like an Integrity/Disembodied album with a Fear Factory influence. Certainly a continuation of the old Midwest hardcore sound of the 90s.
Never saw you guys live, and you would stand No.1 on my bucket list!!!! You are one of the extremely rare bands that doesn't have "bad" song or album...
My first metal concert was the tour of this album. You guys opened for machine head and fear factory. Machine head was drunk and messed up a few times and mark played guitar with dino on replica and kinda butchered it lmao. But it was a great show. Got me into metal. Got to meet you guys and it was a real pleasure. Very nice to me and my friends. Never forget it. Thanks rob!

That secons riff on painting the white to grey, just before the verses, is my personal favorite. Its an absolute neckbreaker of a riff!
🤘
you are one of my favourite guitar players among other people like bill steer, jeff loomis, peter wichers, dino cazares, michael amott, christopher amott, michael keene and per nilsson
i can pause and hit play and get chills every time at some of these songs...such a badass and underrated album with such heavy ass fucking riffs and vocals
I'd like to think these vids are a precursor to a reunion..... Either way, loving it. Brings back memories of great times.
So many memories in one video. I still listen to this album all the time .
One of the most solid players ever so clean yet not forced just feeling it, while using proper techniques.
👊
I love how trippy metal was during this era of time in fact one thing I miss from bands like Mudvayne, Chamaira, Primer 55 is that eerie psychadelic bad acid trip vibe that is completely absent from metal now
Interesting and cool point!🤘
My favorite Chimaira album! Love all of them but this one is special to me! 🤘🏾
🤘
That's awesome man🙏👊
Lumps will always be my favorite song from Pass Out of Existence, that breakdown is fucking sick, RIP Chimaira 😞✊🏾🤘🏾I miss y’all as a band
My god that album's so brutal. I remember seeing ya's on the Machine Head, Fear Factory, Ill Nino tour thinking Ok, who are these dudes & let's see what they 're about. The following day the cd was in my daily rotation. & my neck was sore af. lol
I love it!🤘
The only nu metal album I can appreciate
Now my day has been made!🖤
How did i not know your channel existed!?
Long time fan of Chimaira. I remember when i was about 14, i sat for days and days figuring out how to play Six by ear. i would constantly have the song on repeat to see how far i could get through it each time!
Awesome! You might like a new video I plan to drop soon!😉
Awesome Tyler! That's rad!🤘
one of my favorite guitar players..
Refuse to See is one I would love to see, still one of my favorite songs after all these years.
Wow!🤘
I've always loved this album because it never sounded like a true "nu metal" album like Korn, but more like an Integrity/Disembodied album with a Fear Factory influence. Certainly a continuation of the old Midwest hardcore sound of the 90s.
Nostalgic, brutal memories came back rushing through my head!! Thank you Rob 🤘🏼😍🤘🏼
This is one of my favorite videos on the whole inter-webs.
🤘
Truly underrated and underappreciated album.
Never saw you guys live, and you would stand No.1 on my bucket list!!!! You are one of the extremely rare bands that doesn't have "bad" song or album...
I still listen to this album
🤘
Pass out of Existence is cool in its own special way. Loved how the groove and low tuning play out. Cool sampling/imdustrial style on it too.
Genios. Los escucho desde el año 2003. Son vanguardistas, de muchos subgéneros y fusiones posteriores.
🤘
Yes man!
Chimaira - the best of the best! You are the best of the best! 🤘
Thank you so much! ))
3:26 gives me chills everytime I hear it!
Thanks rob!
That's awesome Randy! And yeah that was a fun tour man!🤘
Oh man, happened upon this vid. Blast from the past. Chimara were one of my favorite bands. This album blew me away and still holds up today! Groovy as fuck! Thanks for the memories!
Rob you're playing is so powerfull and magnificant 🤘🤘🤘🤘Please don't stop playing music 🤘🤘🤘🤘And i wait for original CHIMAIRA 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Thanks dude! We'll see!
My favorite album from you guys! Banger from start to finish
We desperately need the original lineup to reunite! I know there's more gold in that mine!
I use to jam the hell out of this album when I got my job in it’s beginning years. Great memories connected to this album man!
🤘
