Drag Race Sverige is coming back, but SVT (which is in Sweden what's equivalent to BBC in the UK, the main and very first TV channel in Sweden, publicly funded) had to put a lot of money, time and effort into Eurovision, so therefore smaller shows like Drag Race got put on pause. It's allegedly coming back next year.
Yeah when Loreen won I knew SVT would have to focuse all its resources in one direction.. and not seeing a renewal for DRS wasnt a huge surprise knowing that.
That mirror reveal. Her calling out phi phi "oh you're that girl... I knew your were that girl" then the comedy challenge, and then shut up and drive. The hairography. All the commentary. And then phi phi walking out. They were all iconic that shit. Phi Phi wasn't having none of it, and Alyssa Edwards was doing that shit just to drive the knife in further. Oh I fucking live for that episode.

When I watched the MTQ this morning, I didn’t catch the theme! Looking fwd to the season; it should be interesting. Besides Nehellina (well, I’ll have to check that name) from Italia, I’m familiar with all the queens. And I think only Tessa and Alyssa were not finalists in their respective seasons. Needless to say, it’s very hard to pick just a few. As a Canadian, of course I root for Pythia. But at the same time, hoping for a 👑 for Kween Kong. Very excited to have Soa on my screen again, I always loved Eva; and I’m glad Tessa appears to have left the leggings at home! Hugs to you Matty and 🐈🐈⬛. I know life has been testing you lately and unfortunately, I can relate.
Almost everyone was saying Soa was their closest friend in the cast, very interesting, I only watched one or two episodes of her season and kinda forgot it all, but I'm really excited for her, she's clearly a queens queen
I think from most of the smaller franchises you will see a lot of Ali Express, Amazon, Teemu, H&M because their queens do not have astronomical budget or designer contacts as the bigger ones...sure one can say whatever they want about that but that is how it is.
I'm doing the hotel thing myself right now (unlike you more due to my own laziness in looking for an apartment), and honestly it's pretty nice here, but hope you find a new place instead, keep ur head up and do what you gotta do, it'll all work out. Who knows, maybe you'll luck out and find something even better than ur current place
IMPORTANT DISTINCTION: not being renewed is *not* the same thing as being canceled. THis one wa only ever contracted for one season, so there was nothign to cancel. The host was the biggest problem.. Robert Fuchs is great at his thing, but honey, this wasnt it.
I think I still should just go ahead and watch it now so I can see what everyone is talking about with the host. No shade, the panel for Italia is why I don’t watch it tbh.
