yeah, i think that is why he recorded it at night and during the daytime. i am pretty sure he called a friend over to shine a light on it just in case any other artist saw him creating it and wanted to ruin it. then when he came back the next day it was fine so he recorded again.
Try painting a two colored piece by wearing different glasses (red and blue fpr example)

Try painting another effect that you previously tried with a mural. I'd love to see a neon mural or a glitched mural. It would de a great learning experience, considering that a assume you don't have much experience with murals

Thought about how to do such grafittis before and I planed to use a computer, a 3d Programm to stretch my sketches the right way before start painting.
But this doodle grid method is genius... simple and effective.
a red and blue 3-D image (the old 3-D glasses) would certainly be a challenge
A corner while using the ceiling and the groud. You could also try sculpture. I always wanted to do small wildstyle lettering emerging from a wall.
You should do a piece that when you look from the left it looks like one character or one piece then when you look from the right it looks completly differnt. I cant remeber whwre i saw that before but it was really really cool
