Yees.
just a question, why are you selling the sketchpack using a service in the US? It means that for those of us in Australia it costs a lot more. I would love to get the sketchpack, but I can't justify spending $190 AUD.
@@izzymartin6592 I think because that's the company he's been working with, and most viewers by sheer numbers are in the US and Canada. And the company is in US? If there was an Australian company (is there?), Then the shipping cost for more viewers would be even higher.
Got mine delivered today, looks gorgeous and can't wait to start using and exploring the different supplies!
We need a part 2
The broken flute music playing while the Genie was shown is absolute comedy gold 🤣
But-but that's not a flute noise-? It's a recorder noise--
*cries*
@@pinkemerald1224 lol
man it’s always a surprise to see jazza struggle with a medium
Props to him for actually uploading videos of him struggling/failing with a medium 😅
Hows it a suprise. Its like Phelps running 100m dash under 10. Not all sports are the same
@@slayerbot36 they just mean he's very talented in many different types of art, pencils, markers, paint, clay/sculpting, digital, etc etc. And it's not uncommon for his dabbles into new mediums to be very good and seem natural for him, that when he struggles it's somewhat unexpected for him.
Yeah, he should have went with a large
He struggles often on this channel.. he just perseveres and gets there in the end! I've seen him struggle a lot over the years, but the end results are amazing
Honestly for a first attempt that is incredibly impressive! I honestly think you'll get very good at sand art if you decide to make more!
If you think about, this is true for ALMOST everything that Jazza does 😁😁
Thats like anything art related that he does
Basically everything he does art related
Only 2 mins in and think he was too critical on the beach sunset. You could tell what it was and tell what the clouds were and was very impressive.
I agree
The beautiful flute rendition of 'arabian nights' during the beauty shots of the Aladdin one got me so bad 😭😭🤣🤣
Me too it was perfection 🤣🤣😂
I actually love that you show a new medium and don't hide where it's not looking clean and beautiful yet. It's rare to do something new and immediately be good at it and this is probably encouraging much more people to try new things and then keep doing them to get better. Love your videos! ❤️
I agree. I love trying new art mediums but think I'm terrible and should quit if I mess up one tiny thing. So to see this incredibly talented artist struggle at something new does give me hope that if I keep trying, I can make things that I love.
Im more here to laugh than to be blown away. Derpy genie over a perfect one every day of the week. Made my lunch hillarious. Thanks Jazza
I’m not gonna lie, for an introduction to a medium this is incredibly impressive. You were a bit too ambitious with the project but it shows the technical skill you possess with art and with practice you could honestly make such intricate things with sand. I was blown away at the mouth area of the genie tbh
I'm honestly impressed with how clear and defined you got it at first with the Genie's face. I'm also always impressed when you go ahead and post these sorts of videos anyway. It's clear you tried, it's clear you have talent as an artist, and you still didn't end up with something you liked or found good. But you posted the video anyway, and I think that speaks volumes to your values. So thanks for the video, and the laughs (that ending's editing was perfect), and keep exploring and having fun.
i think it would be easier on this one if you started in a Big bottle, since you would need more finesse and technique in the small bottle
Yea true
Nope! The sand he is working with is too course. You need a much thinner, finer, and more powdery sand than what he is using. It looks like he has just run of the mill sands from Michael's that are used for cheap projects and not actual sand art. (The sand from craft stores is meant for pictures that have an adhesive front or for those sand art necklaces you buy in bulk from oriental trading company.) He needs high end sand vs. this "Rose Art" brand.
I’m always amazed by how Jazza is so talented. He can literally create anything
@Don't Read My Profile Picture ok i wont
It's very cool that you know exactly how talented he is before you even had time to watch the video. Especially considering he didn't show much talent at all in this video.
Very High creative IQ
Pretty sure that's mostly just having a quite solid foundation in 2D (and 3D) plus some ability to improvise? Should be doable if you put your mind to it! (depending on how good that foundation is)
@@wednes3day well, being capable in every medium you try to me is a high creative IQ. That’s ofc high cuz of thousands of hours of practice. Not just a solid foundation and improv skills
I honestly called it being the genie from Aladin when you were first creating the chin/mouth... that is some serious skill to capture a likeness in that little bit of sand!
Also I was probably MJ's age the first time I tried sand art (just making pretty colors and "hills") but it was SO much fun. If you share the sand art supplies with the kids I hope we get to see what they create!
As an artist its SO nice to see that even someone as talented as you isnt a master at everything. Slow leaning curve on sand art, cool now i know. Thank you!
Hey Jazza, I know that this hasn't got anything to do with the video but I just wanted to say that I had to do an essay on an inspirational person and I did you because you really got me into art again and you really brighten up my days when I'm down so thank you for doing what you do and giving me more inspiration to continue doing art and learning new things
We had an assigment like this too. But our teacher said it can't be a youtuber, so i had to do someone else XDX
@@kajamaja7148 aww that sucks
It is unfair how good Jazza is at so many different things. I could dedicate my life to sand art and never produce anything half as cool as his freaking first attempt.
The palace turned out really well. I never knew people did art with sand like this. So you introduced me to that with your video.
Shoutout to the Americans with bad sleep schedules that get to watch Jazza when he posts 💪💪
Hell yeah, average American!
@@TrashRacoon1928 Wooooo
Pretty sure it gets easier the bigger you go. You only did very small bottles. I'd imagine bigger bottles with more sand are more lenient.
Yeah it looked so difficult because it was so unforgiving
Actually, his sand is wrong. You need to work with very fine sand. Think 800 grit vs 80 grit. You want a more powdery sand than a granular sand.
His resolve to try and learn everything is actually awesome 💜💜
@@korosheht5446 Good sir, thank you for your efforts.
I think many don't ever think about and comprehend thatbbeing a skilled artist is already one thing, but being able to competently make such high quality videos of you making the artwork is a different level.
I have a couple close family members whose art is magnificent, but there's no way they could organize a concise, high quality video of the process without some SERIOUS trial and error
I can’t express how much I love that you try things outside of your comfort zone, and still post the videos if the art goes a bit wonky.
I watch people like yourself, Ace of Clay, North of the Border etc doing what you are all great at. Then I look at my little wonky clay sculptures and feel a bit 😞
Then, you started with stuff like this and I think, you know what, even someone as awesome at art as Jazza has to struggle and learn to do something new.
So thank you for giving me hope that one day my stuff will be a little less wonky, and be a bit more awesome like your stuff ❤
Jazza used a completely new, and quite difficult medium for the first time and created a masterpiece. I'm done.
We love to see the mistakes and the fails it's always encouraging, an artist is not the one who does it perfect but the one who is persistent to make it better every time
This brings back my childhood. Craft stores used to sell kits for making sand art and somehow I suckered my mom into getting me one. I remember being not great at but having a ton of fun. I actually really liked your derpy genie. He was cute.
Super impressive attempt! I had no idea people created such intricate art with sand! Wow!
Jazza reminds me of Neil Buchanan, the host of Art Attack. Same wholesome and chaotic arty vibe.
If I remember well, Art Attack is one of Jazza's inspirations behind the channel!!
Very true! Some people think Neil is the actual real Banksy!
@@heartcrafts3426 I don't think Neil's ego is big enough for him to be Banksy
Use finer sand Jazza it will help with the crispness you are looking for. I still am amazed by everything you come up with! We all support you and your art
I love the fact that the first video Jazza looked at was someone doing Tighnari and Cyno in sand art from genshin and as a genshin fan I loved it
When i saw it i was sure i will find genshin fans in comment section lol
Yasss me too!😊
i will come back 3 years from now when this will have 10 million views and enjoy Jazza Sand Art Channel
I don’t know how, but everytime Jazza tries something new he ALWAYS succeeds! I could never to half of this stuff he does!
I loved jazzas first dable, I was wondering how it'd turn out, he always makes things work
I greatly appreciate how Jazza doesn’t just show his wins, but also his not so great attempts.
Sand art videos are cleverly edited; the purple drawing on the glass is the image, but the brushes/tools inside are painting thin PVA glue layers, which allow the colored sands poured via the funnels into the exact spot desired (and to stay there) on the interior surfaces. This is what Jazza has missed. Sand art has always been 1 part trick.
Oooh!! Tea time!!
Jazza can try any type of art on the internet and make it look easy
when it comes to different mediums I'm generally pretty good at first attempts... except for this. like I sew, knit, crochet, draw, sculpt, carve, needle felt, etc. All with first tries that turned out surprisingly good considering I'd never done it before. but this was the first thing that I actually gave up on in frustration. I've never felt so defeated by something. especially with people being able to do portraits. 😭

Straight respect for you doing this and posting your result.
Not everything will be perfect or amazing first shot and even someone as amazing at art as yourself shows that and is still proud of your work
You can see the moment fatigue hit with the genie! 😆 I have a lot of patience and love tedious stuff but sand art looks hard AF!
The flames were great! Good Try!❤ 👍

I enjoy how Jazza suffers with new things. Just makes me feel I don't suffer alone 😂😂😂
TIGHNARI AND CYNO!?!?!??!?!
They’re all so beautiful! ❤ I love your artwork! They always come out AMAZING❤❤❤❤❤
I've tried it before with colored salt and it was extremely hard so seeing Jazza doing this is a kind of a relief somehow althought he did a lot better than me 😂
I ended up only doing lines of different colors like for example I made one with blue shades with glitter lines in between and glued a seachell on top ant it turned out very beautiful!

Thank you Jazza for keeping your videos real. You are a very talented artist and there is no shame in showing that you cannot learn something like sand painting in a very short amount of time. In fact, nobody can and it is good to show it. Still loved the video, still smashed the like button. Keep it up!
Jazza video alerts at 3 a.m. have become a nice replacement for my random sleepless thoughts.
❤
Damn I thought my 2 am was late lol
I genuinely appreciate how you approach mediums and say that you won't be as good as the experts. All the stuff you do always comes out so great from where I'm sitting but I know there are experts in these things and, like a true artist, you tip your hat and I respect that.
Hi I love your videos
That Cynonari sand art blew my mind.... and not just because you just showed my fave pairing from my favorite game, but also that result thoooooo
This is such a unique art skill. I remember making these sand arts when I was a little girl. I remember how sad I was when I shook it up and mixed all the sand and it didn't look pretty anymore. I wonder if you could preserve it some how maybe with resin or water holding it in place? 🥰
I thought you could seal the top with melted wax or something so it won't move around?
if you overfill the bottle with sand (usually just a base or "sky" colour, or whatever you have if it's gonna be covered by the cap) and then force the lid on very firmly the sand should stay packed in place. resin also can heat up a great deal, I'm not sure how safe it'd be in glass, but I have no first hand knowledge of it, so i'm hardly an authority.
My friend's parents had these, and they were somehow glued together at the top to stop them from moving around. So I think it's actually a common thing to do.
I love the fact you're trying new things, not just sticking to what you're good at
Looks incredible as always
Hes a man of focus, commitment, and sheer F@%*ing will
Your first attempt with the sunset beach was an AMAZING first attempt!!!
Wow the sunset on the beach already blew me away. To me it was clearly visible what it was meant to represent
Definitely would like to see a part 2. You look like you have potential in this medium.
You talk about work that’s beautiful your first little thing is beautiful shush
Is the sound kinda blurred or is it just my problem?
I think it’s ur device
I notice some noise on the mic audio as well, the music is find over my speakers but there's a slight constant noise on the spoken audio. Nothing major and I've noticed it before on other videos. So if it's a big issue it might be your device.
I'm hella impressed and astounded that you're up to trying anything and everything related to art WITH PEOPLE WATCHING. Dude, I'm trying my best to get over my perfectionism but that level of "Give no Focks!" is why you are the great Jazza.
That sand art is very impressive 💗
Jazza dont feel bad, I admire and appreciate you not only exploring new mediums of art but sharing the results with us, made me laugh as this is how it always looks when i try something new 😂😂 I love watching your videos as its always fun watching you figure this stuff out on your own, finding new techniques, wowing us with your finished masterpieces, or in the case of this video, giving us some pretty meme worthy results 🤭🤭 thank you for everything you do, have a wonderful day, cant wait to see what else you'll try😁
Ok, just for this video, I'm subscribing. It's nice to see an artist displaying that despite being a professional, they aren't actually amazing at anything they try immediately
Jazza,
If you want to make a good piece of sand art, you need to use a container that is narrow and wide with an open top. That will allow you to more easily place the sand where you want and move it into place. You also really should focus on making a single sided picture. Instead of watching short tictok videos on it, you should watch tutorials so you can actually learn how they do it and the reasons they do it that way.
Even when jazza is dabbling, it turns out really well, even if it's not beautifully refined
Yo here at 2 views
☝️Same
This man is a multitasker for arts and crafts.
His size of the sand grains are way to big.
Its genuinely refreshing watching a Professional Artist like Jazza struggle and fail on a project. It makes it easier to connect with him and understand that art, in any form, is not easy. All those wonderful pieces you see that is usually followed by a quote like, "I could draw something like that myself" genuinely took time and talent to create.
I know you were lookin to make an entertaining video, but good on you for showing you achievements and failures too :)
Early!
Honest and humble. I like it.
it’s just so real and this is exactly what an aspiring artist would be doing I like the rawness
As he’s flailing around the bottles, I keep wanting him to shake it!
I've never heard of this from of art but i don't think i have the patience or will to learn anything like this. Hats off to anyone who managed to master this, it's really impressive.
3:01 Tighnari! And Cyno! 😍
Wow! 😲 When I did this when I was a kid I just basically layered the colored sand! But what these artists did w/ it is next level!
Love the derpy genie with the beginner playing Arabian Nights 🤣
I’ve been watching for 5 years and it’s good to see the views and everything going up
Jazza, I used to watch your channel religiously when I would create and for a reason I'm not sure of slowly stopped watching/listening. I recently had a creative death in my work and I realizes thay you and your work constantly inspire me and keep me creative. I and so many people appreciate what you do, thank you
Wow!! So much better than I expected. Fun video, always entertaining.
Sand art is seriously incredible
Watching you learn over the years is so inspiring
I hope Jazza dose do this again in the future sand art is so cool for his first attempt was very impressive I can only imagine the things he can create with this technique with more practice
Jazza, dont get too down, you did pretty well. And honestly this seems like it would be easier with a larger bottle. The small grains that are mistakes would be less noticeable. You should definitely try it again
Let's get this to 10 million views
The reveal at the end was *chef's kiss*. I love that you tried this, and I thought you did really good for a first time!!!
11:09 GENIE & AGRABAH!!😂 AWESOME!!
I mean, its a very iconic thing & he has enough elements to make it recognizable so its a win.
Jazza is AMAZING with the sand art😊💖
Omg, JAZA!!! ... I've recently found a love for book painting... where u paint the edges of the pages... and I think you should try it
Jazza is an incredible artist and he seems to be good at every new art medium he tries. So, it's refreshing and nice to see him make something that isn't perfect.
Jazzza you are a jack of all trades in the art world
Seriously looks great for your first two attempts. This looks insanely hard. Well done.
Your favorite animated movie Alurdin😂😂😂that and the broken flute music was too funny
I reckon that was a pretty good attempt. I remember my mum getting into sand art briefly in the 70s. Sunset scenes with birds flying in the distance was her speciality, I vaguely recall.
Wow, that really unearthed a memory I have not thought of for decades. Nice one, Jazz.
I've wanted you to do this video for ages, instant like
The yellow going into where the blue water should be actually looks like it’s reflecting on the water :)
The recorder at the end made it worth it watching this video.
It honestly went better than I expected
That is the happiest Geanie ever!
The ending was so funny. Thanks for sharing your result.
I love watching Jazza try new mediums, especially ones so far out of his normal wheel house, makes me feel encouraged to try new things too.
I'd love to see him try origami, traditional or modular, sometime in the future though!
Having the right needles/hooks and tubes definitely help refine it ..but this dabble wasn’t bad at all…think the challenge is thinking inward to outward in 3D space to create the 2D image on the outside is the trick.
We used to to do this when we were kids. We never had such fancy tools though. It’s fun!! Well done!
You did an amazing job on the dive, for doing a double sided sand art thing for the first time that is seriously impressive.
