Her voice sounds wonderful live

Your songwriting and your voice remind me of Iris DeMent.
SHE SOUND LIKE MY FAIRY GOD MOTHER
Lucy you are a beautiful bean
lucy i am in love with you do something!!! now!!!!!
I'm sorry, I know Lucy has a following, but I find her music always seems so sad.
sad in a good way right????
That doesn't make the music bad in the least. I'd say the "sadness" is part of what people find alluring about her music
@@turbotaquitogoogle8095
Too much of anything is not good. Modern music seems to be perpetual depressing. Music should mirror our lives, that's what makes it identifiable, so we should express the good, positive side of live, also. "Sad Music" is the new standard in today's music, which should concern everyone. Nothing against Lucy, she has found a forum in a difficult business, it just seems she is a one trick pony.
@@TheVagolfer Maybe music truly is mirroring lives in that it is depressing. We're in the middle of a pandemic, and teenage angst is at an all time high with social media shit and depression disorders on the rise. I think society and life simply suck right now
@@TheVagolfer It feels like a huge disservice to her music (and many other “sad” artists) to call the music simply “sad”. Her lyrics are so full of layers of optimism, self-reflection, nostalgia, heartbreak, first love, and on and on… It’s emotional for sure, but it’s way more than just sad.
