Youve got a 3rd press. Has the Vertigo logo above the spindle hole on the b side label and no Big Bear credit on the inner gatefold credits. Still £2 is fantastic esp as its in decent condition. Paranoid is always the lp that is most destroyed.
I’m not a huge Sabbath fan, but of all their LP’s this is the one I would by far love to pick up. I hope a strong VG+ / EX OG copy doesn’t go for anywhere near that price
£2970 is insane money, was it signed or something? I don't think even a first pressing is worh anywhere near that amount, but if you've got more money than sense....
@@pinkfloyd.appreciation I must say I think you hit the nail on the head this time. I guess if two very rich people decide they must have it the battle begins and crazy stuff happens.
Love this Black Sabbath Album, my favourite one! 😊

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. As you say it was still a bargain. Good hunting!
I just love this condition, a dream!

I am not sure why it went for so much. A crazy priced record.
Hi, In this great, fantastic condition, this version of Paranoid by Black Sabbath is definitely worth over £2000. 👍
With Swirl innersleeve, congratulations! 😉
Amazing Album, record Record ☺☺👌🏻👌🏻
You could almost get Black Sabbath to play a reunion show for that price.
True, but that would probably need to get the bus.
Bautiful Records!!
The fella who sold it surely must have been bidding against himself or getting his friends to bid.
Who knows?
You could be right. Its a crazy world.
Are you sure its original? The Inner sleeve isnt right.
Turns out this one is Italian. I think the one that sold for £2970.00 was English.
@@thevinylvault I didn’t think it looked right, the inner sleeve was a giveaway. I would think it’s an Italian reissue.
Thanks I appreciate your feedback.

I think it was a English first press in Mint condition.
@@thevinylvault £400 for a total mint one is about the limit I reckon

@@thevinylvault yes we've all done it but not to that extreme...and the sale went through so it wasn't a late night boozy bid either lol madness..
Thanks for your interesting comments. Good hunting!
