@@ioe12 no, I don't flash anything. It's a good idea though but that would be crazy if that was the issue if the immobilizer somehow got broken and that's what caused the no start issues. Thanks also!
@@123lowkey you should just be able to pull the two tabs at the top, pop the ECU out, shift it up a little then pull it down without interfering with the headlight.

is your CTS a 3.0? do you know if the location is the same for the 3.6L? Other than those questions this video was very helpful. Very Very helpful
@@robotrodney glad to help! But mine is the 3.6L. It SHOULD be similar location but, of course, the engines are different.
Yeah except the headlight is in the way so you cannot just pull it right out...
