Having been a hgv driver for 30 years let me tell you not many bosses are sympathetic when you say you not going out in this weather. Pretty much forced out of job a few years ago as I wouldn’t go out in an amber snow warning.even tho 2 out of 3 routes out of town were closed by the police.
I mean if it was a tornado how come it wasn't caught on phone or cctv. This was just high winds, combine that with our new reliance on green energy like wind farms, and we now have more powercuts.
Relocate to Central Russia. We don't have any storms, hurricanes, tornados, volcano eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods and droughts. The summers are like in heaven. The winters are, well, much better than 20 years ago. Electricity, gas and land plots are cheap.
@lucass9328 Why not make bigger roads so you could have larger trucks that don't tip over? Seems dangerous or just plain slacking, build half a road and charge for a full oje?
@@GardenerEarthGuyThat's a full size 18wheel HGV, the same as used across the world, in other words a normal size truck. This happens anywhere you have strong side winds, the curtain sides act like a sail and lift the (empty) trailers.
The lorry paitently waited until the oncoming traffic passed before falling over 😊
Extremely considerate driving. 30 seconds sooner everyone's deid!
Was probably the wake of them passing that pulled it over in the end
Don't be silly the driver and Lorry fell a sleep! At the same time. 😅
I'm amazed high sided vehicles were even on the road.
I hope the driver is okay. 😢❤
Cos there idiots
My heart goes out to all that are suffering through this storm.
I pray all will be safe.
His employer sending him out needs fined.
‘Don’t go outside danger to life’ also ‘people outside driving large lorries and filming’

"It's just wind" most comments I saw here on YT
Is that unusual in Scotland? I have read old archive papers depicting tornadoes in that area in 1700's.

WAY DRAVING IN STORM NO BRAIN
A lorry is a small truck?
I assume you're not from Europe but yeah typically things are smaller in Europe because there's more limited space than in America, for example.

@@GardenerEarthGuyyou can get Lorrie’s that are the same size as American ones. They vary a lot here
@@thribs Exactly, we call them Artics, which is an abreviation of 'Articulated Lorry'.
