@Luka Kirasić He was regularly beating and choking her, besides permanently damaging her eye. When he threw the phone at her eye, he tore off her eyelid, ruptured her retina, and almost caused her to lose her entire eye. Her eye almost came out of her head.

I’m going to have to say that it is hard to talk about love and social life and I can’t blame her about that. She was brave enough to say it and everyone should be proud on how much bravery she has, talking about social life is a personal thing and no one should go through that

I don't know why this popped up in my recommendations just now but I'm glad it did. She is just the sweetest, most awesome person. I know that a lot of times actors can put up that front in interviews and what not but she is the real deal, genuinely joyous to be around. Even with what she was going through at the time, you would never know by watching this. So brave and positive, what an inspiring human being!

I love her so much! I’ve been rewatching glee and I’m on season 4 with Marley and I just can’t stop seeing Melissa as Marley. She played her so well and does some things in this (body movement, some stuff she says etc) that really is something Marley would do. She is an exstordiany actress and singer and she plays all of her roles so well! Love you Mel!

It's amazing how aware Jimmy is of the audience. You can see him purposely doing his stack slowly so that when Melissa does it the audience will react strongly. The same thing happens in the guessing games on his show like Pictionary or Password where even when he knows the answer right away he will draw it out to get a better reaction from the crowd. It's really quite a talent.

God damn, this interview breaks my heart now after knowing what really happened to her eye :( Melissa is truly a real life supergirl. It breaks my heart how she was being badly physically and emotionally abused right under our noses and nobody knew. Sad to see how people are victim-blaming Melissa when Blake literally admitted to abusing Melissa and hurting her eye. Blake literally created a PERMANENT injury to her eye. In 2014 up to October, if you look at her pupils, you can see they are both normal size but then if you look at pictures of her eyes during October 2014 to ALL of 2015-2016 (October 2014 and all of 2015 and 2016 until they divorced in 2016, is when the abuse was happening) you can tell one pupil is much larger than the other, just zoom in on her eyes and it's clear as day now. It breaks my heart how it was happening right in front of our eyes and we didn't notice it. Melissa didn't deserve to go through all that abuse 💔 I'm glad she's safe now and away from Blake. She now has a handsome baby boy and an amazing husband who would never hurt her like Blake. Chris better treated Melissa properly, she's already been through a lot.

He can't outshine Supergirl, he has to be done in a lo-profile mode. So I wouldn't expect much. Besides, the fact that they HAVE to add SuperMAN just means the writers are getting desperate. This is not a good overall sign for the show :( I'll try to watch the next season as well

As soon as you watch her insta tv video, you can never watch this interview the same way. I don’t know how to explain it, it’s like putting on glasses. I had no idea when I first watched this, all I thought was that she was adorable, but oddly quirky. I thought it was odd, but never suspected anything serious or paid attention to myself. Granted, I was about 13 or 14. Well it really was odd, and now I know what was odd about it. Once you know, it’s as if a switch in your brain just flips, and everything quite literally becomes glaringly obvious. You just can’t unsee it. And of course it sounds crazy, but it’s honestly true. I happened to notice it was odd, but again- I had no clue. And then once I knew what had actually happened- everything just fell into place for me. It just wasn’t true. She was lying to protect herself, and I just didn’t know. I wish we’d been able to pick up on it sooner, and that I’d listened to my gut. But she’s doing well now, and I’m so incredibly happy that she found Chris.
Supergirl has been improving each episodes. the first 3 episodes weren't that great and then it becomes better and better each episodes. Love her as KARA! :D
