- The man who was in charge of investigating UFOs for the Ministry of Defence has told Sky News the government is not taking the threat of extra-terrestrial beings seriously enough.
Nick Pope examined UFOs in the 1990s for the UK military before the unit was disbanded.
He told Sky the US was treating UFOs as a "national security issue" and MPs in the UK should pressurise the government to do the same.
His warning came after a congressional hearing in the US on Wednesday heard testimony from intelligence and military whistleblowers who claimed America had retrieved alien spacecraft and "non-human biologic" pilots.

I’ve heard it theorised that it’s a way to maintain control over an increasingly rebellious and pissed off public. There’s fear of global financial collapse, of revelations about Covid (its origin and harms from the vax) coming out and making people very angry. Give people something else to be scared of, of something to unite against, so they don’t turn against the powers that be. Not saying I believe it, I’m not sure how co-ordinated this is.

The UK, with their closest allies, US, have kept this secret for years, mocking and belittling their citizens along the way. Take David Fravor, his ‘tic-tac’ incident is corroborated by at least five people - his back seater, pilot and back seater in other plane and the pilot who went back to record the ‘aircraft’. This number of witnesses would be enough to convict a murderer.

Saw something strange in South Africa years ago, (1986) we were staying in a mining village near rustenburg, my neighbour across the rd called me over to her house which backed onto a very large field, she asked me to come and have a look what was way back in the field. There was a half round large object glowing a sort of pale yellow colour and a quiet humming sound, quite eerie, she asked me what I thought it was, I said I have no idea but not going any closer, to that I quickly exited the field, and her house and went home. ITV News At Ten coverage was pathetic, B-movie saucer footage, and that pillock of an opinionated presenter Tom Bradbury essentially mocking the subject. May as well have had the X-Files theme on. It doesn't wash with people any more. The masses are now starting to see through their games, manipulation and bias, and how much a part of the control architecture they have been. They're going to have to change their ways and quickly because this topic is going to get extremely serious in the coming months and years - and if they don't start taking the subject with the seriousness it warrants, people won't forget down the line. Same goes for much of the print media.
Good reporting. So many journalists could learn something about ‘impartial reporting’ from this journalist. No sniggering or downplaying of the story from the outset, unlike so much other coverage, especially in the US.

Is it possible these UAP could actually be from the sea, and not from space? Many of the reports highlight the crafts entering into and emerging from the sea. Very little of our sea has actually been ‘discovered’. Maybe we’ve been looking in the wrong direction…

If aircrafts are in the sky, in military air space where nothing is allowed, and the technology is decades, if not hundreds of years more advanced than anything we have, or the US has, that's a security threat. These top US Military personnel at the hearing, credible and highly experienced people in flight, aerodynamics, physics and national defence are saying that if these aircrafts become hostile we are completely defenceless. That's a threat, whether its of earth or not.

I saw a craft in Cardiff in the 70''s. I was on the top of a hill in a place called llanrumney and at first saw it hovering over either llanedyrn or pentwyn, for long enough, in the daytime , and low enough for anyone to have seen it. It was as though it was aware that I had seen it as it then flew across to hover directly above me for a few minutes, before taking off again at incredible speed, towards the direction of Newport. Others MUST have seen it, but without the internet back then, and the subject considered taboo, I never heard anything from anyone, including any news sources.
I cannot have been the only one to have seen it and still hope one day to hear from someone that did and compare what we witnessed!

Good to see the subject taken more seriously by more mainstream media, but why does it seem like none of the reporters I've seen covering it have done any research or homework on it at all? I mean, even just watching the full conference that has lead to this point would be a good start.

I’ve witnessed these crafts first hand, I haven’t ever shared this story but I feel like the timing is right.
It started at about 2am, me and my cousin were walking back from a 24hour shopping centre when we noticed a huge bright orange glowing object in the sky moving slowly over head with complete silence, It had no heat trail or anything.
It then began to follow us for about 5 minutes and completely vanished before our eyes, literally just dematerialised in front of us we couldn’t believe it. We began to immediately explain it away as being a meteorite or something. However,
Once we got home I went up to bed and looked out of my window and saw the exact same light in the woods but this time there was a massive mist( kinda like dry ice) just emitting out of the woods amongst this bright orange illumination.
Whatever that thing was. It followed and then landed in the woods.
I have never gone to the landing area but I know exactly where it is. I have fought about going out to the landing point and checking it out.
Now I will add I am a massive skeptic and was once quite religious. I cannot categorically right that off what we witnessed that day to be nothing.
I haven’t seen/ witnessed anything since that day.

Today also finally there was a BBC news article about yesterdays congressional hearing, the UK media has been woefully lacking in its duty to investigate and report in the public interest as a result most of the British public are in the dark and ignorant of the developments in the US. This is really badly reported, the pentagon haven't denied it at all.
I'm glad the stigma is going from these things. We can wildly speculate, but the fact is there are some strange objects being recorded on military sensors.

A pilot in the navy and a commander in the navy both gave their statements. They seem very credible and their descriptions match what Bob Lazar has been saying for decades now.
bit of a generalisation when two of the three witnesses in the hearing this week were first hand witnesses who can be cooborated and backed up by sensor data from their aircraft and radar. I don't know how that doesn't equate to 'evidence'. People have been put in jail for less.
He has given a lot of evidence to congress in a closed session. The mans life is in danger, he has to be careful. This is a very sensitive subject.
@@JezHughes In this day and age, testimonies aren't enough when talking of a topic this big. If there is something extraordinary going on, then we need extraordinary evidence to match. Low resolution, shaky videos with pilot testimonies have been around for years. So far, nothing has been presented by these people that informs us of anything new.

Collectively we now need to re-examine ET experiencer testimony, and recognise that a percentage of people that claim to have encountered ETs are telling the truth. I have myself seen ETs in person in the daytime at close quarters.

I don't buy into this at all, just think about it for a moment if aliens out from outer space arrived on earth someone somewhere would have seen them.. it would be public knowledge. What is most likely going on is that the US has insanely advanced technology given their defence spending budget which has been massive for well over 70 years now relative to other countries.
