Had a 2020 Platinum F450 and pulled our 40’ New Horizon’s Majestic with no issues. Our trailer weighs around 24k the way we travel. GVRW of the trailer was 26,500 but we never planned on getting it to the max . We went to Colorado and it did great pulling the mountains.
That area looks really fun for exploring! We plan on being there next year and will have to check out some of these spots. The train seems like a nice way to see a lot of the beautiful landscape out there.
Thats the only thing with the Ford beside the CP4 pumps that eat themselves, they scream rpms downgrade even on a little 5%. I regularly run 8% and I have to lay off the exhaust brake to maintain 50 or it will go too slow in my RAM. The train excursion looked cool. I'll gave to look that one up. Thanks for sharing.
That is very loud fan sounds going down hill.. With higher weight/ 7% grade, you probably will be tapping the breaks more often. Ram down hill or uphill, it is both super quiet
Did you have any issues getting the furrion cameras to work. I also have the 2024 F450 limited. AC went out at 1600 miles. Ford says compressors are on back order.
Im looking at buying 2024 f450 and 2025 jayco 38fbrk. can you tell me if a 5th wheel pin weight of 3800lbs is ok for this truck plus swivel wheel golf cart carrier and a golf cart. thanks
Our payload is 4900. The 450 is actually a little less than a 350 because it's a heavier truck. The pin weight would work depending on how much other stuff you load in there and # of people with you. The swivel wheel is just going to add weight to the overall towing amount since it's behind the axles. Our truck is rated for 40,000 lbs of towing capacity. Just have to watch the payload.

Yeah, those dogs talk when nobody's around 🕺🏿🕺🏿
I've always wanted to ride that train. I really enjoyed the scenery. Thanks for sharing this.
That train ride looks awesome! I'm happy that your friends gave you such a wonderful gift and you had such a great time. 👍🏾❤️
We had an amazing ride. Thank you!
F450 is a game changer. Love mine we have over 32000 miles towing our 40v13. John
I pick up my platinum 450 black on black next week. I’m beyond excited! Cannot wait. It’s gonna be a beast!

Of course. Thanks for the support! ☺️
Awesome train ride.
So much fun! 😊
I would probably want to take it if it connects to any other train tracks.
I shouldn't have to fly in just to ride the train, despite it being scenic.

What rear end gearing is in the new truck? 3:73? 4:11?
All F450's are 4.30
Would like to know where you got your power cord.
It’s a prototype not released to the public yet
Looks like that cord that was on the Brinkley…..

I have a 2021 RAM HQ Dually with auto levelling. How is the ride? Do you think it will tow heavier loads better than the RAM 3500 Dually with HQ?
I think they both have pros and cons. Overall, I do like the experience of rowing with the Ford better. It’s a much more refined ride.
Thats to loud on the inside while driving..is not normal.. mine is not loud at all ...towing or not towing.. you need to check that with the dealer
I don't watch videos to see a bunch of BS commercials.
Good thing ours aren't "BS commercials"... you're safe here my friend.
C4YT God Bless
Thanks!
