Athangudi Tiles Making-Part 1

Athangudi tiles are made mainly in and around Athangudi village of the Chettinadu region in Tamil Nadu. The traditional mode of production continues till date, maintaining a legacy and grandeur. Athangudi tiles are basically cement tiles like mosaic, but unlike the machine pressed and produced mosaics; they are handmade over glass surfaces.
Other names for Athangudi tiles are handmade tiles, Flower tiles , Chettinadu Tiles and Ethnic Tiles. I would like information: 1)- What is the composition of this drying powder sifted over the paint, if more than one component the proportion of each one? 2)- A dry mixture is placed on top of the fine powder and on the wet mixture, what are its components?
